Hi,

Just wondering, how many hours did you hire your photographer for and approximately how many pics (digital or prints) did you get back?

We had about 9 hours w/ our photographer (who i think could have done a way better job w/ taking pics of more "fun" and candids and of our other guests).

We got over 1500 pictures (some not so good, few were excellent, mostly at least acceptable and can be great w/ editing). I've asked for all the "decent" pictures back (we hired someone we knew) even if people were making faces or blinking.

but we also had a guests that took some for us (starting as a photographer) and they turned out reallllly nice...only regret was that I didn't sit them closer to the middle/front...

we're also lucky that some of our friends are into photography as well and took some awesome shots...we're getting these back slowly...

I think overall, w/ point and shoots and professional pics, we'll probably have 2500 pictures if not more.

From our photog we got 600 photos back. We knew there were more, but they said they were trashed. We got those and there were about another 700. Somehow, though, it still seemed like some were missing and there were some parts/aspects of the day that don't appear to have been shot at all.
