That wasn't our thing, but have you checked out Offbeat Bride? That website may be right up your alley.
@jojomonster: what kind of "geek" are you celebrating? Like comic book geek, computer nerd, gaming geek...?
We are having little odes to Pixar movies and I am trying to think of a fun way to incorporate our favorite TV show, LOST...
The only geeky aspect to our wedding were our table numbers. DH loves all things Super Mario so we used the 8-bit characters and numbers...

And a non-pro pic of all of the numbers (though some of them were moved around a bit)...

Oh, I guess my wedding gift to DH would be considered geeky too. He's an iPhone developer so I got him iPhone cufflinks...

Awesome guys! We are having a medieval fantasy wedding (unity braiser and creating a family crest)
We are geeky and we're definitely adding some nerdy touches to our wedding. I am walking down the aisle to the theme from Star Trek: Voyager and we'll likely walk into the reception to the Imperial March from Star Wars. Our "guest book" is a series of movie posters our guests will sign with sharpies.
Also, groomsmen gifts:

And our cake topper:
My wedding is all about my fiance and I, there are a lot of traditional aspects, but also tons of fun stuff. I am planning on walking down the isle to a instrumental piece off of the halloween 3 movie sound trach, then are table names are after horror movies and our grooms cake will have marvel heroclix (a game based on characters from the comic books) on it. We are both mega nerds for comic books and horror movies. Plus I am obsessed with owls and royal typewriters. So on the guestbook table there's going to be my personal typewriter for guests to write us notes and I have tons of owl stuff I am trying to fit in somewhere. So yeah, there's pieces of our personalities in every part of our wedding :) It's fun
Oh and @ geekchic, that movie poster guest book idea, AMAZING! <3
we had different flavored cakes--as each table's centerpiece--each cake's topper was nerdy--
Dalek from Doctor Who, Gohan from DBZ, Totoro, Storm trooper, Pikachu, etc. it was pretty rad.
Our wedding is going to be mostly traditional, but we are having a dr. who themed grooms' cake. Most of our guests probably have no clue who dr. who is!
@GeekChic: where did you find those robot cuff links? Love them <3
We too are in this category but we haven't got that far yet.
The topper of my husband's cupcake tree was from a video game. My mom was pissed when she saw he took the Barbie/Ken ornaments she gave us and integrated them. I loved it though. :p

This was the design for our save the date magnets. We didn't do engagement photos and he always joked that he was "buying the cow" - everyone loved them and they were totally us.

Yeah...we're weird, I know.
Oh, I also bought him lego cufflinks that were The Stig - his favorite show is the british Top Gear, so that was my gift to him. It was a lego man head with a white helmet and the black visor down. He was so happy!
@leilabee: I got them from a sci-fi convention I went to last summer (yes, I am that geeky!) but I did find very similar ones on Etsy:

@misspeanut: so um... Am I seeing this right? That's a Big Daddy on your cake topper, yes? I do believe I have a crush on your wedding.
Have you seen Ms. Candy Corn's wedding or Mrs. Sewing? Both had adorable, geeky touches. My sister had an all out nerf gun abattle at the reception. I wrapped the bridal nerf guns as faux presents to sneak ours in, and my BIL and the groomsmen put theirs into a guitar case- genius!
We initially bonded over Halo and still love playing it together, so we're having these as our cake toppers:

Other than that, we're not really doing a theme of anything...
FI is getting a LOTR wedding band and the groomscake may also be LOTR inspired and if I can find something, I might use some of the music from it to walk in or out to. Or perhaps the Halo theme song. And I'm trying to find some good cufflinks for him too.
The SW cake toppers up there were so cute!!

Themes. Besides what is your dress going to look like this is the second question that comes out of peoples mouth holes when they find out I am getting married. After two seconds of me talking they realize they don't want to talk about it any more. Now I don't have a terrible theme, but most people don't know much about old school video games, comic books, or Scott Pilgrim (the book and the movie). However they mean everything to us. Scott Pilgrim was a movie that my fiance introduced to me after finding how much of a geek I was and it is one our fave movies we watch together, we even had to kinda "defeat" some evil exes in the start of the relationship. Not only did we both grow up with Super Mario and Zelda, but we spend a lot of time at home placing Mario Cart and Super Smash Brothers together at home. I remember one of the first nights in our first place he was playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time while I was hand sewing our Halloween/Cosplay costumes of Old Gregg and The Funk, and thinking to my self how perfect this picture is. So that is why we decided if we would be having a party for us, might as well make it us, the geeky, video playing, comic book reading us.
Now the second part is based on 500 Day of Summer, our other movie that we love. Some people might criticized that they break up in the end and how it is a sad movie, but we don't see it like that. It a movie about how real life is. And how their relationship was in the beginning, all fun and laughs, that is us. The only difference is I did not run when I got scared. I won't lie, normally I run like hell when I get nervous or stuck to far into a relationship, but just how Summer knew about the guy in the cafe, I knew about Kyle and I stayed. Best choice of my life too! Besides all the mushy meanings, Hall and Oates "You Make My Dream Come True" has been one of our theme songs since Kyle flipped out in my friends car when he heard it on the radio and sang it like a pre-teen girl. The style of the movie is what we are going for though, the urban yet vintage look. Let me tell ya, Kyle can rock a vest like no tomorrow and I actually do pin up vintage modeling on the side, so it just fit. There will be lots of twinkling lights and paper cranes( out of comic books to tie in Scott Pilgrim) and hopefully on a roof top some where. Oh yeah and karaoke!
There will be legos! I grew up on them and one day when I have kids they will too. Story behind the legos is one day Kyle and I took a stroll down the street and after he grabbed my hand, he stopped looked at it and said "We fit together like we were two legos." I swooned and blushed for a long time, till I found out it was from an LMFAO song "La, La, La" we had been listening to for a while now (He always thought of me when he heard that song and "Little Hipster Girl"). But it was true he is my lego. We even got almost matching tattoos on our year anniversary, mine is a painting of Audrey Kawasaki's "My Dishonest Heart" but instead of a real heart I have a lego heart with a piece missing and he has the missing lego piece on his chest above his heart. When we sleep the tattoos touch, so sappy I know! We will ave little lego people in the center pieces and I am going to construct a lego poster as our guest book. Also I am working on getting Lego heart temp tattoos made to put in the program.
To kinda pull everything together we wanted to narrow down our color choice we will have, so we didn't think to hard about it. Kyle's fave color is light blue, mine is yellow. Add in some light grey and dark brown for accents and there you go! I know light blue and yellow don't really go with November, but we are in South Florida. It will still be looking like summer till December or even January.
Now I am not saying there won't be other references in the wedding, the paper swans on the gift boxes are after Prison Break since it was the first show we watched in full, His grooms cake is based off of Dexter's breakfast open credited (Blue Moon cake with Blood Orange filling and maybe a little sprinkled candy bacon on top with the art work), a lot of binary coding since we both use to do graphic design and web site coding, and Admiral Snackbar's Jello Shot bar that I will be making instead of a sweet table. But I am super excited every time I start a project for our wedding because I know it will show us and it will be worth it. Plus the Smile on his face when he sees the final product is heart warming.
Omg I love the Bioshock cake topper. Too funny!
Our wedding is mostly traditional, but we snuck a few geeky things in. The groom's cake is Super Mario themed, the song playing during our sand ceremony will be Zelda's Lullaby, the processional is from Final Fantasy, and we'll be walking in to the Legend of Zelda theme.
@Alleycat: Yay for Zelda's Lullaby!!! I am glad to see someone else using it in the ceromony! <3
@Alleycat: I am already in love with your wedding, and firmly believe you should be a geek wedding planner sometime in the future :D
