Well ladies i’d like an offbeat walking down the aisle song. I honestly cant think of much….. the only thing that comes to mind is highway to hell AC/DC lmao. Obviously that isn’t the song lol.
Any and all suggestions are very welcome. The Fiance likes truely, madly, deeply by sound garden. I’m not keen on that at all. I wnat something memorable, not a song that in a year time i will have to think what it was and be dumbfounded.

How about Apocalyptica – Nothing Else Matters
Here are some others I considered;
Where is my Mind? – Vitamin String Quartet (this was my aisle song for a while there)
Colorblind Instrumental – Counting Crows
In Your Eyes – Vitamin String Quartet
Married Life – Up Soundtrack
Just Like Heaven – Vitamin Strong Quartet
Come undone piano version – Duran Duran
Da Capo Players – Tonight Tonight (smashing pumpkins) they also do an awesome version of Disarm and Billy Idols White Wedding
I am walking to Bach – Air on the G string (version from Se7en lol)

Somebody to love by Queen. It’s an amazing song, and perfect for your needs.

i’m walking down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, played on piano, and no singing. It has a nice intro that can define the moment. For our recessional we are using the Peanuts theme (piano only).

Maybe you’ve figured it out by now but I’m having a friend play and sing an acoustic version of The Black Keys
Before that we’ll play
Indian Moon by State Radio. He wrote that song for his sister’s wedding so it is so perfect!

i walked (and bawled) to coldplay’s “yellow.”

I’m walking down the aisle to Bridges and Balloons by Joanna Newsom, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to hire a harpist to play it and not use the lyrics.

I don’t really know how your tastes run. This might not be rock n roll enough for you, but I think it’s gorgeous. It’s a cover of a Crosby, Stills and Nash song.
Ignore the random Kingdom Hearts footage; this was the only version I could find. It’s pretty obscure.
Taxiride – Helplessly Hoping

I’m walking down the aisle to VSQ’s version of Han Solo & the Princess from Star Wars. But I’m a super nerd.

@EffieTrinket: LOVE LOVE LOVE Helplessly Hoping. FI’s family (dad, uncles, cousins) are all musical and I remember the first Thanksgiving I spent with them they played and sang that song.

I’m still trying to find something…the wedding is very informal, ceremony is more fall-themed, reception will be Halloween themed. I’m so stumped!
