This occurred to me at some point, but I never even noticed it. I also had a bee PM me to ask about my"pearl" white dress and how it looked with the guys' white shirts. It was nice and crisp. I think it is totally fine.
You posted a sec ago about the Casablanca 1959, right?
I ordered this same dress in diamond white. It really is a fairly bright white (no detectable yellow tone). My venue has white linens and I'm not at all concerned. With a "dark ivory" dress this might become more of an issue, but you really have nothing to worry about with the diamond white.

The lady at my bridal salon said that most people do not order a white gown, but rather go with off white (I am considering diamond white). How does this look with white linens? Does it become obvious that the dress is not actually white?
Your knowledge/advise/opinons will be appreciated!!
