So, my wedding planning so far has been a breeze. We are still 115 days to go, but my venue does pretty much everything I need for the ceremony and reception. The only thing I have to do is my flowers (done) my veil (doing it this weekend) and the invitations. The only thing I really need help with is my invitations, but that is just stuffing then and addressing them.
My problem is, I am worried that all the people who keep offering to help are feeling left out of the planning. But, there’s not anything they can help with. We already chose our colors, and the venue does the centerpieces, so like I said, not much to do. I bought fake flowers and made the bouquets the other day, it only took 30 minutes to make all of them, and it’s not like it’s a 2+ person job. I only have one sewing machine so sewing my veil is only a one person job as well. And since our invitations aren’t done yet, there’s nothing for anyone to help with.
We are not doing wedding favors or other decor not provided by the venue, so how do I make others feel like they are contributing to our wedding, when there’s nothing to do?
