Hi there, My name is christina, and I am a young mother, hoping to go back to college, and take something more suitable in school that will fit my desired lifestyle, to fit around my family, and my son. I am hoping to get into Medical office work, as I am really hoping to work 9-5 jobs, so I can be home for my son and family, on the weekends and on the evenings. I am just wondering how many of you actually enjoy this job. The money isn't the hugest deal as my SO makes very decent money, and if it were about the money I would get into something else. I really enjoy answering phones, organizing, setting appointments, and working within an office setting, but am also hoping that you ladies can give me some input. Thank you so much,

I was an office assistant and it was an okay job. I did not work in a medical office but I did a lot of book keeping and data entry. I enjoyed the organizeing, filing, and cleaning but I hated data entry. I could not do data entry / bookkeeping for a career. For a temp job it would be okay though.

I work for a podiatrist and I love it. I am more of a tech than an office assistant but since its a small business we all kind of help each other out. I love my job, I have never once woke up and dreaded going to work.
