    I’m interviewing right now and have to say that while it is long enough I think it’s a little too tight fitting for an interview.  That being said I think it’s perfectly appropriate for a general office environment.  What goes for the office doesn’t necessarily go for an interview.

    @MrsPaperFlowers:  Do you mean the skirt & its cut and length?  Or the fact that the midriff is showing?

    It’s not appropriate to go to the office topless 🙂

    As far as the skirt, it is office appropriate but I wouldn’t wear it on an interview.

    Not necessarily because it’s inappropriate but the length is just a bit unusual for an interview outfit. I guess it could work with a blazer.

    @MrsPaperFlowers:  I thnk its fine…you can’t hide the fact that you’re a woman or curvy just because you’re at a job interview….that skirt is so boring I wouldn’t even wear it to a funeral

    I don’t think it’s inappropriate, but if you’re going to wear a skirt I’d go with one that’s part of a suit and hits at the knee. It just looks more professional.

    @MrsBot:  +1

    It’s a cute skirt, but it seems a bit…trendy? for an interview. I usually wear a nice dress to interview.

    It is definitely office appropriate, but I am a strong beleiver that you should always wear a suit/dress suit to an interview.

    @MrsPaperFlowers:  If you have to ask, you probably shouldn’t wear it to an interview.  I’d stic with a traditional-cut skirt suit or pant suit unless that’s abnormal for your profession.

    @MrsBot:  This.

    IMPO you should dress conservatively for an interview. When there is nothing wrong with the length, to me, it is too trendy, and thus not appropriate. I always stick with either pants, or else skirts that fall on, or very slightly above, the knee., for interviews.

    @MrsPaperFlowers:  In all honesty, while I think it would be appropriate, I also think it’s just cut weird and doesn’t look very good. It’s up to you, I think it would work, but I’m not a fan of that style.

    @MrsPaperFlowers:  I think the length is perfectly fine.  I think the cut might be a little too fitted for an interview.  It also depends on your field.  I think it’s fine to wear something that shows off a little curve if you’re interviewing for Applebee’s but if it’s a professional office setting, it might be better to err on the side of caution and wear a suit.

    Lol, I didn’t think you had planned to interview topless 🙂
