I know soooo many people on here are Twilight haters, but there are also plenty of Twihards and this post is for you!  I CAN'T WAIT FOR FRIDAY!!!!! I bought my tickets a month ago, and i just watched all three movies this week.

let's use this thread to get excited and come back and drool after Friday as well.

    Who is in?

As a kick off, which is your favorite movie so far?  And what are you most looking forward to in Breaking Dawn part 1?

For me, the Eclipse is my fave.  Before that it was New Moon. I just think they keep doing a better job each time and i hope the pattern continues.   And for this movie, i am honestly excited for them have sex! LOL.  I said that to DH and he was like "you want to watch porn?", and i was like "no, but i am sure its going to be a 'Titanic - Romeo & Juliet' type of love scene and i can't wait!"   And of course, i will be eyeballing every detail of the WEDDING!

I am SO excited. Seriously, my inner geek is getting ready. I haven't booked tickets yet but can't wait to see it. Maybe avoiding it this weekend but I'll definitely see it with the bestie soon! :)

I really liked the original Twilight, actually. New Moon... eh. and Eclipse wasn't bad, actually. I can't wait to see the sex scenes too - I've heard they were cut back, quite a bit!

@jaguar: i am not surprised if they are. I don't understand why they all about making the movies so G-rated when so many other teen stuff out there is 10 times worse!  Perhaps we will have to wait for the cut scenes on the DVD, lol.

@PurpleUnicorn: Imagine... an R rated extended edition for the grown-ups. I'd buy it! <-- does that make me sound like a bit of a perve?

I am still raging over the fact that it's going to be cut in half - probably right at the good part, with the baby stuff... bah humbug.

oh and let's also say why your favorite movie is your fave.  I like Eclipse the best because of the effects - you can tell its the movie with the biggest budget of the three.  Like if you compare how Edward sparkles in this one compared with the first, they do a much better job in the third. Overall its the best quality one of the three.  They also do a slighly better job with how i imagined Rosalie is supposed to look.  And you get an nice equal dose of Edward and Jacob.  i LOVE the proposal scene. i cry everytime i watch it (yes, even i think i am crazy for that). And it was one of my favorite stories because you learn so much more about the other characters like the werewolves history, Rosalie, and Jasper.

I bought my tickets 2 months ago so we could get into the biggest theater! Our theater plays the movie in each theater room within and last year I waited until the week of the movie to buy tickets and got stuck in the smallest theater with awful sound. NOT THIS TIME! I am going to be there as soon as my FI get's off work standing in line waiting for midnight!!

My favorite book was Breaking Dawn but my favorite movie so far was Twilight (only because I remember how my heart nearly exploded when I found out they were making it into a movie and the waiting was so much fun with all the pictures and finding out new things). I do believe these 2 movies will be my favorite though (probably the 2nd half but I'm super excited for the wedding!)

@jaguar:  ya i haven't even imagined how they are going to do the birth.  When i was reading it i was just picturing blood EVERYWHERE! I am sure it won't be the case though.  In the previews though you see Edward hanging onto the headboard, so i have some hope!  ;)    i think they have to give us something.

I'm seeing it Saturday and SO excited!  I dont have the patience or tolerance to deal with all the tweens and see it Friday, plus I'll be traveling still.

I'm currently in India (Twilight does not appear to be big here - I have been looking for ads) so I presume I'll be rather jetlagged Saturday but so excited to have tickets to the 6pm show anyways!  I think I am going to make red velvet cupcakes for our little "viewing" party! :)

I dont think its pervy at all to be anticipating the sex scene, I am also.  Its not natural to have had 3 movies and only kissing to date...maybe thats why I picked up a True Blood obsession too...its X rated Twilight! ;)

@HappilyEverAfter54: well you might be one notch above me! i am not going for the midnight showing.  i totally would, except that i would have to go alone and i would probably fall asleep.  so i am settling on friday night at 8pm.  I am pretty lucky, as the theatre i am going to has advanced seating so i already know where i am sitting and only have to show on time, no waiting in line for 2 hours like i used to do for Harry Potter!   I am going downtown for this special occasion though, not the little theatre close to where i live and i can't wait!!!

@PurpleUnicorn: I heard during an interview with R.Patz that they had a Bella-esque figurine for some of the birth scenes, since she is supposed to be all skeletal and worn out from carrying the baby - and he was talking about how creeped out he was. I hope it's kind of gory and horrific, like the book suggests.

I loved Twilight because... it was the first one, it was a chance to see the characters come to life, it had the best soundtrack (IMO) of all the films, and it was just... awesome. In a terribly tragic way - omg, the Edward sparkles were shockingly bad.

I admit I don't like the movies but loved the books.  ANNND I'll admit the movies have gotten way better, but I still haven't gotten over that first one.  I didn't read the books until the rumors of the movies, and then refused to watch the trailer for twilight until i was done with the books.  When I finally watched it, my room mate almost died laughing at my face saying "you look like you just died a little inside" because I was so disappointed.  However that has not stopped me from watching...

anyone care to guess where they will cut this movie off?

My guess would be right when Bella gives birth and Jacob sees Nene, and we still don't know what happened to Bella.

I am not a hard core fan and won't be braving the theaters for this one, especially since I still have not manged to see the thrid one. But not going to lie, I really really can't wait to see the wedding scene!!! The first one was meh, the second one better, and from what I have seen in the previews, all the acting has improved greatly in these last two! I still think the books are better, well minus there is no Jacob Black eye candy but these last ones promise to be pretty good! Though I have recently discovered while Emmett and Jasper are pretty yummy vampires (totally not an Edward fan) they have nothing on Spike and Angel.

@MrsNerdy: Good call on the ending. I've been saying since I heard they were breaking it into 2 parts that part 2 will start from Bella's POV just as she's opening her eyes and seeing things as a vampire, so your ending for the 1st movie would be perfect!
I'm much more excited for part 2 than I am part 1, but this one should be good and steamy! I also have a strange facination with beatiful emotionally tortured men, so I expect part 1 will have plenty of that from Jacob and Edward!

@MrsNerdy:  i have a friend who was sooooo into the first book with me, we read it at the same time. she started reading New Moon, then she saw the first movie and was so horrified that she couldn't finish reading New Moon!  it was so frustrating for me because i lost my Twilight buddy!  A couple of years later she finally got back into the books again and watched the movies, so i think you two have stuff in common.  And honestly, the one thing i don't like about the movies (besides the terrible blond-hair dye jobs on Rosalie and Carlisle) is Kristin Stewert's lack of facial expressions. I just ignore her poor acting skills and focus on Edward and Jacob!! Basically i take the movies for what they are - bringing the books to life and i just have more fun loving them rather than focusing on the stuff i don't like.

As for the ending, my guess has also been that it will end around the birth. I was thinking we will see Edward at least inject her and maybe watch her suffer for a bit, then maybe as she goes into darkness the movie will....oh and i also think we will see Jacob imprint - i hope so anyway, i am totally curious how they are going to pull that off. i imagined shards light shooting from him to Renesmee!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite was the first. Reason being it was more about the love between Bella & Edward.

The other two, well depressing then she cheated on him!!!!!!!!!! IDC What anyone else says she kissed Jacob & that in my book is cheating. BLAHH! lol

BUT I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED for these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am betting these will be my favorite!

My fav book is Breaking Dawn.

I have to agree that the movies are getting better as time passes. Which considering the first movie they only had room to improve. Personally I can't stand the Edward in the movies. I love the Edward in the books. Robert Pattinson is not my idea of hunky, maybe that is the problem. I do think that Alice is spot on though. The characters are getting less wooden as the movies are made so that helps.

I think they will end it where she gives birth like in the books. They might give a hint to the 2nd part at the end of the first one which would incorporate Renesmee in the first one.

I am Team Edward in the books and Team Jacob in the movies. Le sigh. Those werewolves are just so yummy.

I am beyond excited!! I have my 'Team Edward" shirt ready :) I'm so happy we have a Muvico Theater in my area, I bought my tickets a month ago and they do reserved seating.. so NO waiting in line for hours!

I read the books a couple years ago and fell in love with the story. The movies don't compare but I still love them! I'm excited for the bed breaking :)

@Storm0075:  my thoughts exactly on Edward in books versus movies and Jacob in movies.  Although for a time during book 3, i was split between Team Edward and Team Jacob. I still am sometimes, but i do like how it all turns out. I only Taylor  Lautner was older in real life so i wouldn't feel like such a cradle robber for thinking he so damn hot!   And Rob Pattinson has grown on me. he gets better with each movie too, but i actually liked him better in Remember Me when he didn't have all the vampire makeup on.  In fact, when I see a lot of actors without their makeup on, i can see why they were chosen.  Like the actress who plays Rosale IS drop dead gorgeous and they ruin it somehow in the movies. its too bad.  maybe they just need better makeup artists and hair stylists to get it right.

I don't know if it will be this movie or the next anymore, but i am totally curious to see how they are going to make Bella look different as a vampire. I really hope they do a somewhat decent job!!
