What's new and different with you?!
I have had an exciting week or so. I have friends from Canada in town and I've been hosting them at my place and showing them around So Cal. THE highlight so far was getting to feed giraffes at the San Diego Wild Animal Park - it was SO COOL!!!
Chimoa the friendly giraffe munches on an acacia leaf. They're her favorite snack!
What is new with all of you? How's your Thursday been?
hi hi hi hi - - I am at my office and i still have about 50 minutes of work left before I meet some friends for happy hour - - I just posted here about getting my ering today - - YYYYAAAAAAYYYYYY hence all the repeated words - my mind is going going going miles per minute, haahaahaaa

Sadly what's new with me is that I have a cold coming on.... and I have a 10k to run on Saturday!

Hi ladies! Still at work - the next 40 minutes are stretching endlessly before me. Working til 8 is a bummer. How's your day been?
Love the giraffes! We live down the street from the Lincoln Park Zoo, but don't get there nearly enough!
It's finals week for me. Of course, I'm still procrastinating by being on WeddingBee and planning out blog posts. :P
Today's been busy busy busy for me, still playing vacay catch-up.

Hi! I'm at home relaxing and finishing last minute things because I'M GETTING MARRIED TOMORROW!!!!!! I am so beyond excited!!!!!!!
I am so addicted to the zoo! When I lived in STL I would go all the time because it was FREE. LOL. Since I live in IN now I am definitely getting a family pass because I want my daughter to enjoy the zoo just as much as I do!
@lilyfaith-Boo to finals! Just think of WB time as clearing your mind so you can study better! LOL
Im relaxing and starving...waiting for pizza hut to show up at my door...so much for the workout I had today...haha
@sweetnote - that's why I love LPZ, it's free too! It closes really early, though, and I work straight through the weekends. As for finals, yes, I think WB enhances my study process! Haha.
Whoa, congratulations Nexus -6! I mean, BEST WISHES!!! Today I cried three times about my wedding budget and then my therapist practically slapped me (ok, not really) and told me to RELAX. Or "CHILLAX" as my friends and I say. So I am.
Also, think I picked out my bridesmaid dresses...Dessy After Six collection in the aubergine or eggplant or majestic color. Think a mix would be ok? It's a fall wedding with burnt orange as the other main color, but a lot of colorful pieces tied in. Anyone else used the After Six line?
LOVE the zoo pics :) I need to make sure I go sometime this coming summer...anyone know if there is a big zoo in Austin? I'm sure there must be?...

I am just sitting at home waiting for my FH to get home so we can ring in my 23rd birthday in casual movie night and wine style ;) only 4.5 more hours ;)

Ww're having brauts and au gratin potatoes. We had nice weather this week, but unfortunately it's supposed to rain all weekend. Congrats to all you who are newly engaged and best wishes to those of you marrying this weekend.

Hey everyone! I'm just relaxing - have one more day to go and then it's SPRING BREAK! I just finished cleaning the apartment 'cause I'm heading out of town for a few days tomorrow! I'm so ready to have some time off!

@Sulli-My Birthday is on saturday!! but Teddy has a birthday surprise for me tomorrow that I had to take the day off for. and I dont find out what it is till tomorrow. Soem red wine sounds delish.

EDIT: for the PAers the hubs and I had WaWa and I finished off the meal with a "Death By Chocolate" vegan mini cake.

Travel Channel is showing a special on sandwiches and so far I've seen a crazy roast beef, tomato, coleslaw & french fry sandwich. Then the original French Dip, then a shop that serves all kinds of sandwiches with peanut butter.
And I'm really geeked about the next place coming up: Tony's Diner in Birch Run, MI. They serve a BLT there with 1LB of bacon on it! No joke! Seen it and it is disgusting while hilerious!
@Whitesonnet - I have seen that show probably way too many times and love it. Wish I can travel to these places and pig-out :)
Was the roast with the tomato, coleslaw sandwich from Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh?
@ Roddy, It was. It looked super good. FI is a sandwich freak. We would totally go to those places on a road trip.
Last night we were watching Man v. Food and he was like "I wanna go there" to The Salt Lick outside of Austin.
If there are two things FI likes to eat, it is sandwiches and BBQ.

@whitesonnet - I actually have been at the Primanti Bros. restaurant and I really want to go back. I didn't get the great experience because I was one of those losers who asked for the stuff on the side. I am a totally different person with different taste buds so I want to eat it right.
