Today marks exactly 365 days until the wedding! Anybody else counting down! I mean for goodness sakes, I have an app on my phone that is dedicated just to counting down! I am told it’s going to fly by!! Luckily I think I am ahead of myself!
-Venue Deposit paid & booked. (included in the package is the food, cake, ceremony site, reception site, 4 hour open bar)
-Photographer Deposit Paid.
-Both pairs of shoes created (wearing heels for ceremony and converses for reception as I can not be in heels all night!- Bedazzled both to make them my own)
-Centerpieces figured out and 2 created. Supplies for all the others are bought and shipped on their way!
-Huge binder full of ideas
I would much rather be ahead of myself! Anybody else ahead of theirself. OR complete opposite, waited until last minute?!

- Wedding: October 2014 - UK
Congratulations! The countdown is for realzies now!
I’m still gathering ideas, it took me a week or two to get my head around the whole ‘getting married’ thing, so I’m just organising my thoughts and information now, to start in January hardcore.

I am absolutely on the early bird train as well! I am nearly at my one year mark and I could not be more thrilled. I have been the same way with trying to really get ahead of myself with the planning. We have been engaged 6 months already and so far we booked:
Reception – Church is booked and we are actually doing our pre-cana wedding class requirement on Oct. 27
Venue- Booked and deposit paid (includes dinner, cocktail hour, 5 hours open bar, cake, & table linens of my choosing)
DJ – Booked and deposit paid
Wedding Trolley – Booked and deposit paid
Dress – Ordered and deposit paid
Registries – all done and we even received some gifts already from our engagement party
Honeymoon – We met with a travel agent this week just to talk about where we can go with our budget and he gave us some great ideas. I am hoping to get this booked fairly soon
Save the Dates – have been ordered and soon will be sent to my guests
Flowers – I know what I want and can afford so I am either DIYing my bouquets and centerpieces or hoping a florist can perform a miracle. I am meeting with the first one tomorrow.
I still need to book a photog and videographer and then I focus on all the details.
I want to enjoy the year of engagement so I wanted to get all of the contract signing done and done!
By the way I LOVE the beddazzled wedding shoe thing. I have actually been scouring the internet for a good pair I can bling out myself.
