Have you guys confirmed your officiant yet? If so, was it your pastor? A recommendation or family friend? Or did you find one online?
I trying to figure out who I want to marry us now. It’s the next thing on my ever growing to do list.

@romanticbride42: My wedding is September 2nd. Apparently, I needed to have an officiant picked MONTHS ago. I’m honing in on one now, but I’m feeling really late to the game. 🙁

I had my grandpa marry us, it was only like 10 dollars for him to get the license. Not only were officiant fees high but I wanted someone more meaningful. It was super easy and took hardly any work at all =]

I can’t get married in the Catholic church ( which I am secretly glad about and is also a looong story) so we found an awesome non-deominational pastor who also plays the harp, and he is doing our ceremony.

we had to shop for a rabbi, because we want to get married before sundown. we already have had 3 meetings with her.

Our officiant was a recommendation from a friend. I’m actually going to this friend’s wedding tomorrow, so I’m excited to see her in action!
