Mine is $150.  That includes writing the ceremony and rehearsal.  I think up to $250 is normal for ‘freelancers’ (i.e. you aren’t getting married in a church)

I think costs may be regional.  I’ll be married in the Central Florida area and my officiant is $200 ($300 if you want him to come to the rehearsal).  The deposit is $100.

I think our JP is $250 for a “custom” ceremony (aka we write it ourselves).  I think there’s an upcharge for extras past a certain amount of things though. Aka vows, etc are including but if you want to do a rose ceremony or unity candle ceremony, it’s an extra $25.

The $250 includes him attending the rehersal, and also his wife comes to do day of coordination.  Mics, music, etc are included too but we won’t be using that.

Mine cost $750 which was a little on the expensive side for our area but it was a totally custom ceremony and she came to the rehearsal.

We paid ours $300 for the rehearsal, 100% custom ceremony with unity sand and she also played 5 violin solos as we walked down the aisle we picked them out and she had to learn them.

ours was $100, but we’ve having a super short ceremony/rehearsal.  We’re also taking care of the paperwork ahead of time so she gave us a hefty discount.

In my preliminary search for an officiant, the ones I have found charge between $300 and $400. What we’re going to do instead is pay for a good friend to get ordained (or whatever they call it) online and do the ceremony. We’ll get him a gift as part of the wedding part of course. This will be cheaper in the end and I think it will pretty awesome because this guy is hilarious and he is the one who introduced us.

mine is 200, which was the cheapest i saw.  but other than that, all i found were officiants from 500-899, which i personally find rediculous for a 30 minute ceremony with NO rehearsal dinner.

$400, includes ceremony planning packet for us to customize our own ceremony, and the rehearsal. Pretty standard for my area.

Ours is $550 for a custom ceremony. It will be an additional $250 for him to do a reherseal.

It really varies. As a member of a synagogue, the rabbi did not charge for the ceremony, but we gave her a $500 “tip”. The cantor also performed free of charge and we tipped him $250.
