We had this gentleman officiate our ceremony in 2012 and he was very pleasant to work with. My husband and I found him to be warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. He did a very lovely job officiating our low-key ceremony and was very accomodating when I asked to rearrange the order of the vows to suit my preferences. I would definitely recommend him.

Good luck!!

saritacg7: I agree that it is difficult to pick an officiant just by going to websites. We used the websites as the first step in narrowing down our options in terms of costs, option, and general style of potential officiants. The next step was to check if the people we liked were available for our date. After that, we started calling folks and having a short conversation to get a better feel for them. Finally, we set up consulations with the ones we liked best then hired our absolute favorite.

I highly recommend Reverand Tim from Great Officiants. We only met a couple of times, but he really got our personalities down. He, and the company in general, was easy to work with and listened to our concerns and input and answered all of our questions. One thing I didn’t like was that he could be slow in getting back to your emails, but he always did eventaully respond.
