I'm a big fan of having a Humanist officiant (they call them celebrants). Humanism is non-religious, so that won't be a problem. Here are some Humanist officiants in Maryland:

Hi Bees,
So I've gotten most of the big ticket items crossed off my list -- hurrah! The one outstanding item -- the officiant. I can't seem to find one that's affordable and right for my wedding! Do you have any suggestions in the area? We're not super picky, just want someone who will be nice and calm and perform a simple ceremony (non-relgious).
