Officiant wanting to change rehearsal date after signed contract?! What!??!

He needs to keep your time if you have a signed contract. And if he wants to DJ beforehand he can do that. As long as he shows up on time, is professional, and does what he needs to do for you then his other appointments don’t have any bearing on your rehearsal. 

He need to work around rehearsal.

@tiffytraxler88:  I don’t think its worth worrying about…if he says he’s still trying to get it all sorted out, that’s probably what he’s doing.  I totally understand your frustration, but can you account for things that are going to happen two months down the line?  It might be a family issue, a medical problem, some other professional situation or personal legal affairs and he is under no obligation to reveal his reasons to you whatsoever…Take a look over your contract, see what the cancellation provision is and if you haven’t heard in a week, cancel because he can’t honor his contracted time for the rehearsal.
