Try Up Your Do and Dylan Michael Cosmetics.  They often work together and do en suite. My makeup trial was free and hair was minimal cost.

The company I booked doesn’t do free hair trials, but I researched this to death and they were one of the only ones that I felt were reasonable and great communicators. Their name is Your Day Your Way. They do both hair and makeup and travel to you.  They have amazing ratings. Check out their Facebook page for a bunch of pics! Hope that helps.

gcwoolwedding:  I don’t know her website but on IG pattielepughmakeup she’s great, a recent graduate of mud and her prices are reasonable and her work is amazing.

gcwoolwedding:  I’m not in your area, but it is worth it to do a trial! Just schedule it for a day when you have something else fun going on (maybe bachelorette, shower, etc.) and it won’t feel like wasted money. I did this just this past weekend – had my hair trial the same day as my bachelorette. Plus, that way my FI didn’t see it, but my friends did and I could get their feedback!

I’m using hair and make-up artists who are from Jamison, PA and will be traveling to our venue in Bucks County, PA to prep my bridal party and myself. They’re incredibly responsive and when I asked about a hair trial (I had a destination bach weekend and a late bridal shower so I didn’t want to do it unless it was absolutely necessary) The stylist asked me for photos of my face, hair, photos of styles I wanted and basically told me that doing a trial was optional since it would cost me money and it was a style that could be done the day-of with no fuss. I’m in the Philly area as well. Our wedding is this weekend and I’ll be happy to send you all details if I’m happy with the results 🙂

I did Dylan Michael Cosmetics and I Do Updos (https://www.facebook.com/updosbynichole). Both were excellent and came to my hotel the day of the wedding. They were by far the most reasonably priced on-location make-up and hair stylists. And neither had minimums, which was amazing. Everyone was VERY pleased with their hair and makeup, including me!

Check out Jolie Salon in Blue Bell. I go there, it’s a nice upscale salon very near Normandy Farms. They even offer spa & overnight packages in conjunction with the hotel, so may have a wedding package for you. They do both hair & makeup. Good luck!

gcwoolwedding – I’m getting married in March at Normandy Farm too!! So exciting!! What’s your date? It’ll be here before we know it 🙂

I’m even later to this than you, I’m just now really starting to look for hair and makeup. Did you find anyone yet or had any trials? Would love any recommendations!
