I spoke to a male friend of mine yesterday. He's been with his partner over 5 years, they own a house together but are *still* not engaged. I mentioned it to him and he said... "Funny story, I bought her christmas card in the sales last year and it says "to my fiance", I was going to ask her Dad when we went on holiday together but I was too nervous and haven't done anything about it since. I guess I'll have to keep the card hidden another year." Awwwww! I told him to get his ass in gear. Lol.

It's nice to imagine our guys as simply nervous rather than oblivious. That said, thanks for giving this guy a talking to :) Honestly, the male brain is baffling sometimes...
