I just can’t help it 😉
Me and my boyfriend have stopped talking about engagment, and I have backed way off and decided to let him do his own thing because he wants it to be a suprise when he proposes. He let me know he was going to and took me to try some rings on and thats it. So now I know he is planning it but frankly have no idea when it will be. It could be a few months or a few years! These is plenty of time though because we had always planned to have a long engagment as we don’t want to get married until I finish college.
But the other day I stumbled upon these hand sculpted beauties on pinterest and wow are they gorgeous! I have always loved floral rings but I had thought I wanted a gemstone engagement ring more (I change my mind a LOT) and that is what I told my boyfriend when we first started talking about engagement, but looking at some of these I can’t help but think I would much rather have a tiny flower on my finger. I espcially love the rose gold ones.
My problem is, since I know he wants it to be a suprise, I don’t want to tell him and make him feel pressured to get this as I know the suprise is important to him. What to do? =(
Here some pictures of some of the rings on esty and the seller’s sshop link

Those are cool, and unique. Kepe your mouth shut though, until he brings it up. As you said, it could be years. If you keep looking at rings and thinking about it, you’re only torturing yourself. Go enjoy your relationship and life as-is, without being worried about the next step.

I agree keep it to yourself until he brings it up, the you could share you new loves. What about a floral gemstone ring, best of both?

Yeah, but the problem is I don’t think he is going to bring it up again.

Just buy one to wear on a different finger or your right hand… you can still have a pretty ring even if it’s not being used as an engagement ring. Or tell him you want one for Christmas… Nothing about those screams “I’m an engagement ring!” so you have wiggle room to wear it whenever/however you want
(although I know you WANT to wear it as an engagement ring, we’ve all been there )

Love her work. If I’m not mistaken, she actually casts hydrangea blossoms– totally inspired me to experiment similarly.
I agree, get yourself a phenomenal right hand ring for now. By the time you guys are ready to get the real deal, I’ll bet you’ll have changed your mind 3923 times (if you keep getting swayed by pintrest, that is!)

@Blue Rose: Those rings are some of my favorites! I actually have a custom pair of her rose gold rose stud earrings. Her work is incredible and she is such a sweetheart to work with. I’m sure if you wanted a gemstone, diamond or moissanite incorporated in one of those rings she would do it for you. But if I were you I would let your BF pick what he wanted to get you since it seems to be important to him and then get yourself a fab right hand ring from Jenny Kim!
