Aww... I'm sure you can make it up to him this weekend :)
Hopefully you're not sweating it too much!
Awww :( Doesn't it suck when you get so busy it affects your mood & memory?!
I do that too... Don't feel too bad.. Now you're even since he forgot last year! lol.
I liked what you said about date night so you can reconnect. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels like that sometimes. Like work & life get in the way & affects the relationship sometimes..
Oops! I'm sure he will understand since you have had a ridiculous commute the past few weeks!
Aww. That stinks. I'm sure if you make it up, he'll forgive you! :)
@okqueenbee: Tell me about it! This is a particularly busy semester for me since I live so far from school now. Hopefully I can manage it better when I don't spend so much of my time commuting. :( Los Angeles freeways will put anyone in a bad mood.
@MissAsB: He was totally understanding! My guilt knows no rationality, however. ;)
@ spaniel - I get to experience those freeways in February! We are going to CA for a late honeymoon & LA is one of our stops... oh boy... :P
It's okay. It's not like you forgot your wedding anniversary that would be a bummer. FI and I don't celebrate our anniversaries. He didn't actually ask, it just happened. So we don't have an official date. We plan on celebrating all of our years together as a happily married couple to make up for the two years we didn't celebrate!
I'll probably forget our wedding anniversary a few times, too. ;) It's not like I forget the date--even for our dating anniversary, I always remember that it was January 6!--it's that when the date comes around, if I am particularly busy, I won't notice what the date *is*. Because I am lame. ;)
Aw, I'm sure he understands. I forgot to request off in time for R's birthday last year. I ended up working a 9 hour shift on a Saturday and pretty much missing the whole thing. :(
Hey he forgot last year so you guys are even now! Most couples dont celebrate on the exact day anyways. Im very forgetful and would be lost without my calender

This week has been insane... 14 hour days with three hour (RT) commutes! By the time I got home last night, I was just not feeling... anything. Tired, cranky, had a silly fight with Mr. S, and went to bed so that I could start it all over again today.
Well, last night after I get into bed and am half asleep, he gives me an envelope saying it might help me sleep better. I was totally confused as to why he was giving me a card but when I finally got it open... oh yeah. :( It was our four-year anniversary!!
I'm such a lame-o. We actually never do anything for our anniversary except exchange cards (and last year, he forgot!) so it wasn't the end of the world, but I feel bad that I let myself get that busy. We barely even got to talk last night except for bickering about who was doing the dishes.
We're planning a date night this weekend to reconnect, but I feel so dumb!
