@Britk:  OMG. Bride soulmate. I just started working on my vows tonight- and the first draft is def rough- I sobbed reading it out loud….maybe we will tire ourselves out before then??? :/

@Britk:  I know! I hate crying in front of people… so embarrassing… but I know that I probably will..

The thing is though that when I think about it, its totally cute and really moving when the bride cries. I love it when the bride and groom start crying… even if they might feel a little embarrassed, everyone else finds it endearing. 😉

Also what you mentioned in another post about your groom to me, I think he will not only swoon over your tears…but will also cry because of how beautiful your words and reaction are. Y’all sound like a fairy tale romantic couple.

@Britk:

Rehearse it a lot out loud before your wedding to avoid those emotional pangs. You don’t want to be a sobbing bride on your wedding. It looks terrible and you’ll be puffy in photos.

Awww… I started to get teary eyed when my husband said his vows.  Then I lost it when I said my own.  I made my husband cry too. 🙂

I assumed I was going to cry my way through the entire day.  Honestly though, I only cried a handful of times – when I gave my mom her gift and she got me crying, when I saw the ceremony space for the first time, and when my SIL did her ceremony reading but almost couldn’t read the second half through her tears.  I didn’t cry during our vows or ring exchange, which I totally expected.

You might surprise yourself!

I’m worried about spending the entire day crying too….I cry at everything! I’ve been looking at songs to use for the father/daughter dance, and I can’t even watch youtube videos of other peoples father/daughters dances without bawling my eyes out.

My FI and I suspect we’re both going to cry. We’re trying to think of a code word to make both of us stop, but I’m not sure it will work. 🙂
