I love my venue place! And I really don’t have too many choices on where to have the reception where I live with out going out of town. My fiance and I are have a fall theamed wedding with regular fall colors like dark red, burnt orange, golden yellow, etc. My problem is that our venue has teal chairs! There is some teal on the carpet but its not that noticeable when you have the tables all set out and everything. But Im worried about the chairs! We are on a budget and cannot afford chair covers! They are just too expensive! My question is, do you think anyone will notice? Will it look horrible? Will it clash way too much?
Thanks for any thoughts!

what about adding some teal into the colour mix? just an accent here or there?
I don’t know what shade of teal your chairs are, but a deep rich teal would probably compliment your colours.
truthfully i think the only time people will notice the chairs is when they enter the room (and that is IF they notice them at all) throughout the rest of the night people will either be sitting in them or dancing!

Here are the pictures of my venue. Will teal go with my traditional fall colors?

I actually think that if throw some teal accent colors into your mix, it will be totally fine. also, you may be the only one who really notices anything! I’m going bananas over table numbers and I’m sure my mom and I are going to be the only ones who notice them! I’m sure the chairs will be less noticable when the venue is all decorated.

After seeing th pictures, I really don’t think people will notice, especially if the room is a little darker. I also like the idea to add maybe a few touches or teal in your decor if you are still worried about it.

I think it’s fine. You can add tiny bits of teal here and there (maybe just a sprig in the centerpieces of a green-blue?) to tie them together and it’ll do the trick. As the chairs already match the carpet it doesn’t look out of place at all.

I was gonna suggest chair covers but you said they’re to expensive so yea I’m with the other brides….I say mix teal in with your color scheme. What are your colors?

If you plan on dimming the room down, I don’t think it would be too noticeable, and if you put frosted glass around, it would blend nicely with dimmed down teal.

I agree with the others, dim the lights and add some teal. Here are some things that I found, maybe it will help. Blue mason jars seem kind of teal to me…

I found an Ad in Classifieds the other day about $1.00 chair covers for rent. http://classifieds.weddingbee.com/topic/100-chair-cover-rental-includes-sash Not to bad considering what they normally are. But I have to agree with everyone else add just a tiny bit of teal into your flowers or forget it. I really doubt anyone will pay to much attention to the chairs. I mean how many times do you walk into a room and go “Oh those chairs are____”. Even at receptions I’m focusing on the little details the bride put into the room like with the centerpieces.
