Oh man! A dress I bought a month ago for $159 is now $59.99 at Marshalls. It was only a month ago! And they won’t price match! They would rather take the return, which just baffles me!
Oh, Nordstrom…I thought I meant something to you…

Lots of places won’t let employees price match. :/ It sucks, but corporate policy is hard to get around. I’m sure you were kind and considerate, but somehow people think it’s okay to yell at cashiers for not price matching/taking an expired coupon. Does not make for a fun job!
Can you return the dress and re-buy it at Marshall’s?

Yeah, I know. I am overly nice actually, because I was a retail manager for 7 years. And I always gave in more to the nice people.
Ahhh they just called me back! They are adjusting it! I love you Nordstrom….I knew we had something special.

Yay! Glad to hear that. 🙂

Yeah, return it and re-buy it! Unless you’ve worn it?
Even if you’ve worn it, Nordies has a great return policy. But they don’t usually price match ‘discount’ type stores. In fact, Nordstroms wouldn’t price match a Macy’s dress my mom bought.
