Two weeks before my wedding, I go to my local Italian place with my fiance (and get to put a face to a name of a lovely bee.) And I look down at a bit of hair that no longer goes into my ponytail… What? How…?
That cat! That stupid, terrible, irresistably adorable cat!
He chewed off some of my hair while I slept! Again! It’s too short for the hairstyle I wanted for the wedding… Hopefully through bobby pins and hairspray we can make it work right… (I threatened to shave him like a poodle, and he started playing fetch with us… Why is he so darn cute?)
Anyone else’s animals deliberately tormenting them?

My cat’s stalk me, but they aren’t so obvious as yours. Thus far they’ve stuck to ripping up toilet paper.

OMG. How upsetting. I hope you can get it fixed.

Oh no! This happened to a friend of mine…her cat chewed off a big chunk of her bangs while she slept. Hope it grows out ok and fast!!

ARG! My cat bites my hair to wake me up in the morning. But she has yet to actually do visible damage!!! (Knock on wood.) How frustrating!

It’s a smallish chunk (though the largest he’s taken off.) Worst case scenario, it’ll look a little off. I was laughing the whole time I scolded the cat. Really, he’s the best possible cat, and I worry about him if he isn’t a little bit of a pain in the butt.

Oh my God!!! My cats have done some crazy things, but I had no idea they could chew off hair!

KITTY!!! Whoa, I’m so sorry! Hmm…maybe you need to wear one of those olde fashioned poofy hair bonnets to bed, at least for the next couple weeks? My cat is a climber and leaps onto me in bed from the nearby wardrobe. “Wake up, Mama!”

After I would come home from work, I’d notice my refridgerator open, and all of the contents spoiled. I always scolded myself for leaving it ajar. When it kept happening, I began to suspect Fido, my cat.
My suspicions were confirmed when I witnessed her pawing open the door, and helping herself to whatever leftovers she could nose around. Jules was not amused. I had to put a baby lock on my refridgerator to keep her away. She also enjoys creating chaos by:
- Sneaking up on visitors, and stealing their food
- Pawing through my hair to wake me up daily
- Bolting from wherever she was to try laying on the book I just opened, or my freshly unrolled yoga mat
- Chasing my feet while I’m sleeping (if I’m rolling over)

I was babysitting a friend’s cat once overnight, and her fave thing was to hop around the bed around 3 AM to try and wake me up. Finally I went back to sleep (I guess she got bored?) and was awoken, about two hours later, to an outstretched paw, claws out, getting ready to knead at my face. Crazy cat! Good thing she is cute 🙂

oh this thread made me giggle….
my two kitties always amuse me, bailey plays fetch and brings the paper ball back to you and somehow in the middle of the night he ends up placing that same ball next to me and i wake up with it. He also knows the tone of my alarm so every morning he comes running in and starts meowing like he’s hurt, if i dont pay attention he goes to the ensuite door and starts scratching at it till i wake up and throw a pillow at him.
Ollie on the other had is adorable, he comes in and slepts between us takes over the aircon and fan and demands the pillow. He is such a daddies boy too.
Oh i love animals so much i have 3 at my parents house interstate and my dog is madly in love with my black purmese that she “tries” to hump him.
