…of deciding where to seat guests at our wedding reception (Yeah I only have half my RSVPs and I’m already thinking about it. What can I say, I am an extreme planner!)
Is there just always going to be seating awkwardness? Will the people be okay if they have to sit with people they don’t know?
More specifically, there is an awkward seating situation for me because the restaurant is sort of divided up into three rooms. We have people from our synagogue coming. We want the rabbi to sit in the room we are in with other people from our synagogue but there are too many people from the synagogue to fit at their table and the rest of the room is taken up by family. Not sure what I will do. Probably consult my sister, she’s a dinner party genius. Would it be weird if we had some synagogue people in the main room with rabbi and then other synagogue people not in the main room? This one’s a toughy!
Do you have any awkward seating problems??? 🙂
