So the last few nights Z has been all over his crib while sleeping. He has gotten his arms and legs stuck on numerous occasions causing him to wake up and freak out. Last night being the worst. I go in there and he has both legs stuck in betweent he slats of his crib. I couldn’t help but laugh. I know, I am horrible. But how on earth did he manage that one! Jeesh! I have a traditional bumper that came with his crib set and we used it during the first 2 months then took it out once he started rolling. I am contemplating putting it back in or buying a breathable bumper. The only thing with the breathable bumper is that it isn’t really designed for non drop side cribs. Z’s crib is the DaVinci Kalani and has wider end slats and I have read that the ties on the breathable one are long enough and there are only a few ties.
I guess it wouldn’t be so worrisome if he wasn’t a chunky baby. He has got some thighs on him and I don’t want him getting hurt when he gets stuck.
