Maybe not a vent so much as a loooonnnngggg sigh.  I should know any day now if I'm pregnant or not and I can't stand it!!  I just want something to happen.  I'm one of those girls who quits drinking for the TWW but man, would a glass of wine be good tonight....anyway, that's all.  Just frustrated and impatient and thought I would share!

    Anyone else in the TWW??

I'm right there with you! I've been dying this week! And to top things off, my cycle was a solid 31 days for months and then all of a sudden last month it went to 38 days, so my period could come any time between 31-38 days.... so it's more like a 2-3ww this month.

I can't stand the suspense... I'm going to start charting next month.

Me too, next Monday is the big reveal for me. I hate the anticipation then disappointment. But, hey, maybe it's finally my lucky month!

Add me to the sigh. We're waiting... and I will continue to imagine that I have symptoms until next Wednesday or so... What is it about wanting babies that makes me have psychosomatic illnesses?

But really, by Wednesday, Im hoping that soon after that I will show real symptoms!

And like sand_dollar said- maybe it IS the lucky month!

@artsybride10:  Ha!  I have a running inner monologue that goes along the lines of "my boobs hurt, wait they always hurt before my period, but do they hurt like this?  hm, i *think* they are more sensitive this month....and I have a headache, yes my boss is a jerk but it could be SURGING HORMONES...you know, because I'm pregnant and all...I mean that's why I'm so tired too, right?"

And on and on until my period comes.  I should know this weekend.  Here's hoping it's the lucky month for all of us!

Mine should be Monday, like Sanddollar. I just can't wait. A friend just announced her girl due in April. I'm so jealous of the pregnancy and "I've reach the second trimester, so I'm not scared of losing my baby anymore." Oh to be that naive.

@MissGreen:  Nope, I'm right there with you and mine was late too!  I'm usually about 31 days but this time 38, so I too was really hopeful and now just disappointed.

Oh well, on to the next month!

I'm in it right now.  We weren't intending to try this month because I had the whooping cough vaccine three weeks ago and was supposed to wait for a month...however, I started charting for the first time this month and we weren't careful and were intimate on my peak fertility day (over the weekend).  So, now we wait.

I don't have any symptoms though I'm extremely tired and every little twinge in my belly makes me wonder!  Plus, we were away this weekend and for some reason I got VERY car sick and I usually don't get more than just a little naseauous that goes away with me driving - I couldn't even drive this time...so we wait for another week and a half.

Good luck to you ladies and hope that if it isn't this time that it is next for you!

@DanielleZara:  TWW is the dreaded two weeks between ovulation and finding out if you are pregnant.  Once you start trying, it's torture.

@jaylovessteez:  I have and I swear by them (I got pregnant the first month I used one but miscarried).  That said, I got frustrated with the little lines  and went digital this month, I had coupons so I sprung for the one that is digital and gives you a smiley face on your peak days.

I just like knowing when I ovulate so that I know 1) when to expect my period and 2) that we had sex on the right days.

A lot of girls on here swear by charting, but I'm not going to lie, it's too much for me.  I prefer to just pee on a stick (or in a cup depending on the test).  I know it's more expensive but it's more convenient and I prefer it.  Another month or two of not conceiving I might change my tune though...

@ladyox: what brand is your digital one? If it doesn't "happen" this time im going for a ovulation kit and pre-seed LOL

I try charting but i dont know.. I have a app on my phone not sure how reliable it actually is because it gives me like 5 days of green to "try" but i can't tell whats darker and whats not LOL so i dont where to start and end.

I use Clear Blue Easy Ovulation Predictor.  It give you either a circle (negative) or a smiley face (positive).  It has saved my sanity this month not staring at the little lines trying to decide if it's time!

And now my TWW has officially begun.  Again. I'll let you know what kind of results going digital gets me!

We started using the OPK's this month.  Cross fingers.

Although, my 0.02 on the drinking while TTC, eh.  I'm currently painting our living room and enjoying a beer while writing this and we're actively TTC.  I can't stop my life become a phobic while waiting to get pregnant.  I've posted before but I take the French approach to life and if that involves a beer now and then (or red wine) I'm fine with it.

@Miss Sapphire:  Agreed about the drinking.   I do lay off the booze about a week after ovulation (since I'm using the kits and know) just in case, but I just can't get behind the culture of fear that we live in where if I even THINK about having a baby I shouldn't have a drink.

I'm not taking shots of tequila and dancing on tabletops (though I have, hee!) I'm just a responsible adult enjoying a glass of wine with dinner or a beer with friends.

And, for the record, my doctor completely supports this decision. But to each his own, I don't judge the women who cut out all booze if they are ttc even though they sure seem to enjoy judging me!

Good luck with your painting and your TTC!

Add me to the list.  I should know by Tues.  At first I thought for sure I was pregnant because I was having stomachaches and feeling very warm (both unusual for me) and but yesterday I had my standard PMS low back ache so not sure.  Crossing my fingers.  This is our first month trying and I used the Answer brand OPK, which I do NOT recommend, it was too difficult to read.  I will try Clearblue Easy next month if neeed and probably try charting if we don't get lukcy this time.

@ladyox: Yeah, I am not a fan of the Judgy McJudgersons.  They can stuff it.

Thanks for the good luck on the painting.  I do think I huffed too many fumes but the room looks great!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one, sometimes I feel like a crazy person and it's all I can think about. My little cousin announced her pregnancy on Facebook and all I thought was "it's supposed to be my turn" (I'm happy for her now though)! Good luck to all of you.

We are in our TWW. I'm not feeling super hopeful this cycle - too much stress. I am using the Clear Blue Easy Fertility monitor and LOVE it!! It was a little spendy up front but its amazing and I would highly recommend it. I think I am going to start charting next month because eventhough the monitor tells me when I am going to ovulate it doesn't tell me if I actually ovulated. Only temping will do that. Good luck to us all.
