LOVE LOVE LOVE your shoes! I'm a colored shoe bride too, but I went with purple!
My feet hurt for you, lol. You can wear them around the house to break them in, though! and get those "for heels" dr scholls pads for under the ball of your foot. That'll help them be more comfy. But they look great and fun and I think you can definitely wear them a few more times =].
Also, i really like the idea of those three colors side by side. I love jewel tones and they sound really rich and luxe to me. Love the colors!
Glad you had fun yesterday =]
Those shoes are hotttttt!!!
And you're right, even tho we all like to bitch and moan and a lot of the wedding planning does suck, there's definitely lots of fun involved as well!
@7SEVENJ9: thanks! i feel like dorothy except w/ blue instead of red heh
@ejs4y8: good call on the dr. scholls... i will look into that! and i will DEFINITELY need to break them in for me, not them. I never wear heels (and never ever heels that high) and i could barely walk. i have 7 months to learn how to walk.
@trailmix: thanks!
Thos are super hot heels though! So nice to hear when a bride-to-be has a nice bridely experience :). Sounds like everyone had a blast, that's so awesome.
Yay! There are definitely some fun moments in wedding planning and a lot of the time, it's too easy to let them get overshadowed by all the annoying stuff. Glad you had fun!
And great shoes! I'm a blue shoe bride as well :) And maybe they'll be more comfortable once you break them in? And they look like awesome party shoes so I'm sure you'll find places to wear them after the wedding.
Thanks girls!! I really hope I learn to embrace heels. I love how they look I just hate how they feel :)
Great find with the shoes! I might have to stop by a DSW to check those out :) Glad you had a great day with your BM's. There is nothing like shopping that brings the gals together.
@baldor1: link is here if you're interested: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/sm+luxe+crime+sandal?prodId=204814&brand=300353 (all the reviews say they are comfortable. i disagree. heh)
Killer shoes! I'm a colored shoe bride as well but have been having a heck of time finding the color teal that I want! :) Glad to hear that you had a fun day with BMs.... We all have that roller-coaster wedding planning ride, too!!
Yay another Columbus bride! I love love those shoes! One of my BMs is my FSIL and she came over last night to start designing our STDs, even though the wedding is a year and 8 months away...
The shoes are awesome and I like the idea of having multiple colors for your BM's. I am actually contemplating doing the same.

I feel like a lot of wedding planning has been not so fun. But yesterday I totally had one of the best wedding planning days I've had! I have a MOH and 2 BMs. Only one BM is local, the other two are not. Well my MOH is definitely not going to be able to get here to go bm dress shopping so we planned a time for my other BM to come to town and MOH gave us permission to pick whatever.
So yesterday morning me and my two BM went out and had the best day shopping! We went to two bridal salons and found bridesmaid dresses they love (I gave them a color and told them they could pick out anything they loved that was knee length and that color). We actually found a dress they really liked and I loved 3 of the colors the salon had as it turned out... so we're getting one of each! I'm a little nervous bc i don't know if I've ever seen a wedding where the bm wore totally different colors (will be sapphire blue, jade green, and toupey gold), but the swatches looked SO good next to each other and they loved the idea so we're going to go with it!
Then we went to the mall and found these really pretty pashmina wraps to match the bm dresses (winter wedding and i wanted them to have wraps for outside pictures)... they match the dresses and best part: I talked the guy down to $30 for 4 of them! Love mall kiosks :)
Next up was DSW... I am letting them pick their own shoes but they wanted to go shopping together for them. We found quite a few they liked but none they wanted to commit to. We did, however, find shoes for me! I wasn't even sure I was going to buy heels for the wedding but these were just INCREDIBLE. They are exactly what I thought I wanted if I got high heels-- high, blue, sparkly, and hott! Also, suuuuper uncomfortable (I'm so not a heel person!) lol. Oh well... I will suffer for pics and ceremony and then change into some ballet slippers for dancing. Also-- I was a little iffy on the money (they were $70 which seemed like a lot to spend on shoes i'd wear for an hour to me)... well when it came time to check out i was stuck on the phone and i handed my credit card with the shoes to my bm and asked her to check out for me. She surprised me by buying them for me! So totally unnecessary but super super sweet.
We then met a friend for dinner (mexican... mmm) and came back to my house to hang out.
Basically... perfect day (well, almost perfect.. wish MOH could've been here but thanks to iphone she was able to give her input on all the dresses i sent pics of!!).
Who else is having a good time planning lately? awesome bms??
p.s. shoes attached bc holy cow they rock.
