That's the most fun part! You get to relax and unwind and de-wedding-ize yourself and just languish with your honey!
hahaha I forgot about that part too! FI and I were just texting back and forth complaingin about work, saying how we need a vaca and i was like, "wait...we go to mexico in 25 days!" hahaha
This is the part I definitely have in the back of my mind CONSTANTLY. :) Whenever I get stressed out, I just think, "Only x days until we're on vacation." It's my new mantra!
Oh man, we aren't really prioritizing the honeymoon budget-wise, but I definitely hope we can work out something that will allow us to have a real relaxing vacation after all the wedding stuff, too.
You are so right! I might not even get to go on one for a while after the wedding. FI has to bid for his vacation and they bid week 1 as top priority and week 2 off as second priority. So of course we'll have the week of the wedding as priority 1. We just pray that he gets that week off or he'll call in sick! LOL.
So we aren't expecting to get both weeks off back to back. But we'll see what happens.

I've been realizing over the last week or so that, not only am I getting MARRIED in less than three weeks, I'm going on an amazing 8 day vacation with FI!!! Normally I look forward to vacations with a lot of anticipation and get very excited. I think all of the wedding planning/busyness/anticipation/stress/etc has me so distracted that it has barely dawned on me that three weeks from today I will be on a cruise on my way to the Bahamas!!! Does anyone else feel that there amazing vacation of a honeymoon has gotten lost in the excitement of wedding planning?
