So, my boyfriend is coming out to visit in a few months. We’re trying to find a place to crash while we hit up the theme parks in PA, and enjoy the local areas. I found THE PERFECT place and cannot wait to share it with him.
It’s so ideal!!! I love the fact that it has a fully functioning kitchen so I can go to the local market, buy some food and make him dinner and show him that I can cook too. =) I’m so excited!! We’re hitting up Knoebels Amusement park one day, and going to explore the area, and visit as many places as possible. Anyone in the area have any good recommendations for site seeing???

I went to Knoebels when I was a kid a lot! Not sure how it is now. Hershey Park is a lot of fun if you want to go that far away. Hershey Park is also near Williamsburg.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Yeah, I was thinking about that, but not sure if I want to. There’s so much there, I had no idea. I was just a kid when I was there last.

Hershey Park is a good drive from there- it took me a couple hours to drive from Hershey to between Altoona and State College when I worked there, and it’s a dull but pretty drive.
Knobels is a good place to check out.
There’s a little (really little) theme park just south of Altoona. It’s owned by a company that makes tomato sauce. It has concerts a couple times a month.
