I’m wearing a dress I bought years ago and it’s now too small, so I didn’t buy a dress too small but I’ve gotten too fat for the dress I already had so I’m in the same boat.

@FutureCuomo6610:  Go for it. Some of us work better under pressure and it is not like getting down to a size you have never been before.

@FutureCuomo6610:  I bought mine too small too! The sample was a 10, and it zipped up but was a little too tight. I was measured at a 12, but I ordered the 10 anyways! Now I’m scared because I didn’t even think about the sample being stretched out… epp. I’m hitting the gym starting next week!

@FutureCuomo6610:  You should be fine. I am a lot older than you (although a lot shorter so my weight shifts are in a much smaller range) but if I work at it, my body does snap right back. I do find that I cannot get down to sizes I have never been before in my life though.

I’m in the same boat! Well, when I tried it on in September it fit just fine, but I tried it on last week and I’ve got two inch gap in the back anunfortunately it’s a zip up, so I’ve got to loose two inches in under two months. Gym everyday and pretty much raw veggies, yogurt and tureen tea untmay the big day!

When my ordered dress came in and I tried it on last year it fit, but I wasn’t happy with my body at the time. I think I am a little bigger now, and my wedding is coming up soon!! I definitely want to lose some weight and tone up between now and then.  I just need some motivation! (Like your wedding isn’t motivation enough?) I don’t know what my problem is!

Oh you can do it! You have time and you have already started losing so good for you!! I bought mine a size too small and then it ended up being way too big once I lost weight. Now I’m down two sizes and my current dress will still need to be taken in. Completely possible!!

In the exact boat!  I have been as large as a 22.  I made it down to a 6/8 last spring.  Which is pretty thin on my very tall frame.  I then graduated from school in June and was unemployed/part time rotating schedule for months.  Then my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and lives 2 hours away.  So I was driving all over the countryside for months helping her.  Living on drive through food.  I just got a great job with regular scheduled hours in my field.  My mom is finished with treatments officially tomorrow and doing great.  But all this, plus the joy of getting engaged and a little too comfy eating cupcakes in sweatpants has taken a toll.  I’m up about 25 lbs and a good 10 pushing 12.

I ordered my dress last week – in measurements of my hot last spring body!  Oh lord, we need to get my butt moving too!  Too bad you’re not in Indiana – I could use a gym buddy!

I also bought my dress too small. As of the last time I tried it on, I fit into it. That was in October and I have lost a few lbs since then. However, I have gain more muscle so I hope it fits. I have lost 11lbs so far and I would love to lose another 10lbs.

@FutureCuomo6610:

I had 8 months from the time we got engaged until the time we’re getting married. I started at being 5’2″ and somehow weighing 172lbs. I have never been that big. I’m not really sure what happened, but something sure did.

I got a gym membership and started on Isagenix. It’s kinda like Advocare. I didn’t stay on it for very long, but I used it at least once a month for 3 months. I also walked at the gym. I didn’t run, but I went religiously. I watched what I ate. At around 3 months I was down 20 lbs.

I’ve lost close to 45lbs total, and I get married in less than 3 weeks. It is possible. I even had to go through Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I kept at it. I just kept going to the gym. I didn’t cut out everything, but I stopped eating when I was bored. I had to break bad habits of constant fast food and being plain lazy.

You can do this. It won’t be easy, but it will be totally worth it when you fit into that dress and look beautiful at your wedding. Good luck!
