So I guess it’s really happening! I’m thrilled to share that I got my BFP this weekend! DH and I were TTC for 15 months and for most of them we didn’t have a chance because I just didn’t ovulate very much during that time. Over the summer we tried two rounds of clomid which resulted in annovulatory cycles. In August due to a change in my DH’s insurance, we switched doctors and found an RE who thought our best chances were with IUI or IVF. We decided to give IUI a try (along with metformin, clomid 100mg and ovidrel 250) this round and we were lucky and blessed because our first round worked!
I tested on Saturday at 12DPIUI (14DPTrigger) and got my first ever BFP. I was excited but unsure if it was the real deal or still the trigger in my system. I tested again later that day on a digital and it also read positive. Today I went in for my blood test and the nurse confirmed that it was the real deal. My beta was 181 and my progesterone was 11.1.
I can’t even begin to find enough words and love for all the ladies who have supported me along this journey, especially those on the 6+mo and 1+ year boards, as well as charters and others that have given me helpful and loving words along the way. You all are truly amazing women and I know all of you are/will be amazing mothers.
And now for the pictures:
