@Jennifferq:  It gets better!  The first few weeks after I found out I was literally falling asleep at work, too.  I can keep my eyes open through the work day now, though!

@Jennifferq:  Haha I can relate. It seems the better I sleep at night, the more tired I am, which should be the opposite, but I find myself getting tired around 2 hours into work. Then I make it to lunch, eat, and then I am good to go for another two hours and then crash again. I just always try to snack on something at work to keep myself awake, whether it be veggies, nuts, or something.

My WHOLE 1st trimester!! I took a nap almost every day (2-3hrs) cause I couldn’t make it through the day. It was pathetic. At around 10-12 weeks it fades away & I started feeling a bit more normal.

@Jennifferq:  Honestly, I could sleep eat. Yes, sleep eat. I keep my eyes closed and snack away. The exhaustion is crazy.

I’m 6w6d and I could pretty much fall asleep anywhere at any time.  I thought I was feeling fatigue a few weeks ago…that was NOTHING compared to this!  It’s horrible!

Absolutely. I’m at 11.5w and feeling sleepy all the time ta work. But then it comes time to go to sleep at night, and I wake up and can’t fall back asleep! It’s crazy.

Push through–it gets better! The first trimester is the worst for sleepiness. I honestly feel like I was in a daze through week 12. Haha

Not to be Debbie Downer but it didn’t completely go away for me. I have had a lot more good days though. I just feel like I can’t get enough sleep this week! I am counting the hours until I can get back in bed!

SaraP2012I agree with you.  I’m 16 weeks along and some days I’m great, but then I have days like today where I could crash.  I almost didn’t come into work today because I am so sleepy.

I almost slept in for my 12:40PM blood draw appointment yesterday, and I’m 28 weeks. It gets worse, not better. There’s a window for some lucky ladies during the second trimester though, or so I hear.
