We started TTC when we were both 29.  We’re both 30 now, and on the 10th cycle TTC.  Good luck.

It took us 5 cycles off BC, but we were only ‘really trying’ for 3.. I highly suggest temping and charting starting now so you can have an idea of what your cycle and fertile days are before you really TTC!  Good luck!

We’re both 25 and got pregnant the first cycle trying (as opposed to charting to avoid).

Don’t want to scare you because 75% get pregnant in 6 months but it’s good to hear all experiences! It took us 8 cycles and we MCd at 10 weeks, had a chemical pregnancy the next cycle and it took 6 cycles to get KU again. Lost that one at 9 weeks. Currently waiting on the results of tests but hopefully it will be sorted and I’ll be pregnant again before the two year mark!!!

I was 29 and husband was 30 when we started. It took us 12 months of NTNP (not preventing) and 10 months of actively trying (charting) to get pregnant.

I was 28 and he was 32 when we started TTC.  After I got off the pill my period was wonky and was diagnosed with PCOS.  It took us 13 months and about 7 cycles to finally conceive.  I will be 30 and hubby will be 34 when we welcome our little nugget in March.

When we started TTC, I was 27 and DH was 30. The first two cycles, I didn’t chart. On the 3rd, I did, and we got pregnant. Unfortunately that ended in an MC. We waited one cycle (continued charting), and then got pregnant again our first cycle trying– currently 14 weeks, so far, so good! It’s impossible to know how it will go for you, but I hope you get your baby very quickly!!

People have mixed opinions on charting, but I’m so glad I did it. I ovulate later than average, so when I put just my period days into FF, my estimated fertile period was too early (which I didn’t know untiil I started really charting w/ temps). The first two cycles , DH and I BD’d a bunch in the days prior to when I was fertile, leaving us exhausted and not BDing much when I was actually fertile!
