I go to an aesthetician for waxings every 3 months (I tweeze in between sessions.)

Sorry, I’m of NO help, but I’ve never gone wrong by having a professional make the decision as to what to do with my brows.

*Fads with eyebrows seem to be ever-changing, but it really depends on your face and features as to whether or not you truly CAN pull off the full brow look, kwim?

Your eyebrows are beautiful (I love thick brows) but since you asked… this is the standard method:

Trace a line between your nostril & each corner of your eye. That’s where your brow should start & finish

Trace another line from the center of your nose through your pupil (look straight ahead). That should be the highest poing of your brow.

I get mine waxed every 6-8 weeks.

Search eyebrow shaping/tweeting etc. videos on youtube. There are tons of great info out there. Tutorials on trimming your eyebrows and all that good stuff. I love YouTube! Def used it to learn how to apply makeup better 🙂

I have pretty thick brows…I think going to the proper person to have them waxed is key!! I am soooo picky with who does my brows! I get mine touched up and only trust one lady to do it and go to her about every 2-3 weeks. I also use MAC eye pencils to fill mine in as well. I love Megan Foxes brows….they are perfection! I obsess about mine all the time……

Mine aren’t perfect but I try to take care of them and shape them up! This was on the wedding day before putting on the dress!

Have u ever tried threading? Whenever I get mine threaded they look awesome, I actually have people comment on them! When my FI and I were on a flight to Texas a girl tapped me to ask who does my eyebrows. If you want to create more of an angle use a light shadow and angle brush to fill them in

shape is important but to make them really pop, you have to color them in as well.

I DO use the tiny scissors to trim them down. I brush them straight up and trim along the brow line on top, then brush them straight down and trim along the brow line on the bottom.

I think the key to full looking eyebrows is filling them. I have never found a brow pencil that works for me. They all either look too harsh for my features OR cause my eyebrows to break out like crazy (and, uh, eyebrow zits? no thank you.). I just use eyeshadow – I put eyeshadow primer on, use a small brush to put an eyeshadow that matches my haircolor in my brows, brush them with a brow brush to make sure anything loose comes out, and then finish my eye makup. It looks fine on me and it’s easy to control how heavily you filled them in, so I can do lighter for everyday, darker for going out or if I’m being photographed.

Also to make sure I haven’t overtweezed or anything, like once every other year I let them entirely grow back in and then redo the shape.

Get an eyebrow pencil. It was literally the best thing I ever did for my brows. I went to the MAC counter at Nordstroms, they matched me to their Brunette shade, and the rest is history.

@weddingbound:  Your brows ARE perfect. You’re so gorgeous.

I wish I could grow mine out, but I can’t. I have a minor form of trichotillomania. So I am constantly pulling at them. I don’t pull them out, but the tiniest little stub has to be gone. I’m working on it.. but it’s hard 🙁

Eyebrow pencil, brow gel, and a little eyeshadow on top to help set and define 🙂
