And this is why I totally can't give up control of my own shower lol!
i just have to say that i love love love owls!!! that sounds like so much fun!
OMG Stephanie... I did the invitations (DIY) with a little blue punchout owl on each, tied with a ribbon... and they said 'Guess whooooo's having a baby boy?' I love owls, too. LOL
I have to confess.... I offered to help throw a baby shower for someone for the same selfish reasons! I'm good friends with the girl's husband and his family, but not so much her. But I wanted to help plan b/c I thought it would be fun!
Our theme is woodlands, so we're using a lot of owls too. And we even used the same thing for our invite (Guess whooooo's having a baby). Maybe we can swap ideas!
I just want to say that I fully support the use of owls in all things. We have a doormat that says 'Whooooooo's there?' as well as an owl kitchen rug and an owl soap dispenser. Owls = cute and fabulous. I want to see pictures of this shower for sure! It sound so much better than the ones with the paper baby carriage hanging from a lamp!

This is excatly why I want to host my next friends wedding/baby showers!
Its so that I can use some of the ideas I didn't use at my own wedding! lol! And so that I can use my glass drink dispensers i had at my wedding again.

Just got married last month, and now I'm planning one of my bridesmaid's baby showers. I'm all amp'd up b/c I get to do all these fun things I wanted to do at my own wedding after joining the Bee! We're having a candy buffet (on a smaller scale, obviously), an 'edgy' color palette (blue, orange and brown), and edible favors. We're also doing a vintage-y theme with owls. I am so excited to plan all the games and prizes and such! I want to throw a wonderful party for my friend, but am selfishly so excited to plan out all these fun details!!!
