I thought you were all crazy when you posted about your wedding day nightmare. Like who would dream about showing up naked to their own wedding? But this morning I woke up drenched in sweat from non-other than a wedding day nightmare… It’s my wedding day I have my dress in a bag, my mom, sister and I are walking to my car and I suddenly realize I have no venue, food, or even a church booked but 150 are coming to my wedding today! I start freaking, how could this day sneak up on me? How could I not plan anything? Then I woke up, soon fell asleep again. The next dream, everything is booked everyone is showing up but I am not ready. We had to go back to my house to get my dress, make-up and hair stuff, we get back to the church and realize I didn’t buy a ring for my FI!! It was supposed to be costume made, how could I forget it! i wasn’t prepared at all, I was going to look I crawled out of bed on my wedding and my Fiance wasn’t going to get his ring. It was all terrible, I’m so organized that none of those particular things would never happen but it freaked me out so much I now know what you were all talking about. I hope they stay away :/

I had a dream that my mum did my make-up and she painted my face all green and I had to wash it of in the tiny bathroom at the church and didn’t have time to do my makeup again so I was really late for the wedding and had no make-up.
Needless to say, I had a professional make-up artist.

@alyssaC: i basically had these exact same dreams, i consider them a sort of blessing in disguise though my dreams reveal details i may have missed planning for otherwise. 🙂

I just started having wedding nightmares (and my wedding’s 8 weeks out), but I think that’s because my friend/officiant started some drama last week. It sent me into an adrenaline-induced “Oh no, what’s next?”
Any big event that has any anxiety attached to it will likely cause some kind of nightmare. When I received my bachelor’s degree, I had dreams for months that I didn’t really get it, it was a mistake, I had to repeat dozens of classes, etc.
