So I am 43 - having the best time of my life!

That dress just looks stunning on you. Why would you wear anything less! I don't think anyone will notice anything except how beautfiul you look.

Yes I am honestly 43 next month :) I have two teenagers - my son is 17 and graduating this year and my daughter is 14 and a freshman
I have never used botox, restalyn (which I think I just botched the spelling of) or collagen etc - I use aha cream and oil of olay moisturizer
I am just the happiest woman on the planet and I think it helps :)
Thank y'all - after a very challenging first 40 years of my life the past 3 have been beyond glorious and I am so very blessed!

I LOVE IT!!!! Absolutely stunning! I always thought age appropriate meant not cut up to your tush and not cut down to your bellybutton ( no offense to 40 something brides wearing that, ahem) at the same time. I think you look amazing!!! I think a bride should wear hat she wants no matter first or second (or third). I am 40 and wearing a poufy dress and a fingertip length veil myself. It’s out first and that is what I wanted I didn’t care!
Now I am going to go buy some aha and Oil of Olay.

My dress - ummm tulle dropped waist ballgown - definitely not the quiet suit or simple sheath more appropriate for an older encore bride
AND today I ordered my veil
full cathedral veil with a blusher (which I will not be wearing over my face) but still
and I am gloriously excited.
And I have never felt more beautiful or bridal or excited about anything in my life.
I am marrying my best friend and the man of my dreams and dangit gonna do it right!!!
