I have a terrible time sleeping so I usually don't fall asleep until around midnight.... 11 if I'm lucky and 1 on a really bad night. Yea, I'm exhausted most all the time at 32 weeks. lol
I have a hard time falling asleep now :( My first tri I slept all of the time. Now at 22 weeks I probably don't fall asleep until 2am or so and get up at 8am and my hips are usually killing me and that's why I am up. I usually end up taking 2 or 3 one hour naps during the day because that's easier for me.
However, I own my own business and run it out of my home, so if I couldn't get those naps in during the day, my schedule might be different.
I hope it doesn't start to get worse for me too now that I'm in the home stretch. I normally can fall asleep easily, get up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom but can usually fall right back asleep. I do switch positions a lot to try and get comfortable and my hips hurt too from trying to lay on my side! I miss sleeping on my stomach:(
I have the earliest bed time now, courtesy of DH's crazy work schedule that requires him to get up at 4:30 six mornings per week. He usually starts to head up to bed around 8:15 - 8:30 and I go up with him as I like that time together in the evening before he goes to sleep. I usually stay up reading long past him, turning the light off around 10:00 - 10:30 or so most nights.
I'm a SAHW (soon to be SAHM) right now so I don't exactly have the most strenuous schedule during the day. I do find that I tend to sleep until about 8:30 or 9:00 most mornings though, so clearly I need 10 - 11 hours of sleep, which is a LOT for me! When I was working, I used to get by on six hours every night and have no problem.... not so much anymore!
Depends. First and early 2nd tri I was pooped by 9/930pm. Towards end of second tri and now third tri it's more like 10:00pm. Sometimes I'm wide awake till like 11:00pm.
I def notice the fatigue the next day if I don't get at least 8hrs!
I work shift work, so I voted based on day shifts. When I work days I am up at 5:30 - so I head to bed around 9:30, although lately I can't fall asleep right away.
I slept way more earlier in pregnancy - at 24 weeks I have insomnia 3-4 nights a week so I don't love sleepy time anymore!
But, I usually go to bed at 10 and get up at 6 (for work).
I go to bed a 10:30 or 11, but I have a weird work schedule. I am out of the house from ~11-9 or 9:30.. so I wake up around 8 or 9. If I had a normal schedule like I used to, I'd be going to bed around 9 or 9:30 if I had to get up at like 6 or 7. That's what I was doing first trimester I think (different job).
I'm averaging about 10-10:30p.m. I stayed up until midnight when we watched "Phantom of the Opera" and was exhausted by that point.
I tend to finally fall asleep any time between 2 and 4 AM lately (32 weeks). I just don't sleep very well, or very long, and it's hard to get comfortable and fall asleep at this point.
I live in France where 8-8:30 is dinner time ;). I generally don't go to bed before midnight, but my day also starts at 7:30-8 am.
I'm in my second trimester and I try to go to bed around 10 - 10:30 p.m. but I don't wake up until 7:30 a.m. During the first trimester I was done by 8 p.m.
I generally head to bed around 10-10:30, and am up around 6:30. I don't have any problems falling asleep and can go right back to sleep after my many potty breaks. At 26 weeks here I've been waking up feeling like I haven't slept at all though, so I'm thinking that I need to move bedtime up. I don't get home until 7:30 though, and dinner is usually 8:30-9, so I don't know how I could do that. Weekends I usually get 10-11 hours a night though... oh, glorious weekends.
my husband works two late nights a week, so he doesn't even get home until after 10pm. I like being able to spend time with him, talk etc, so those nights I'm usually not in bed until 12am.
But I'm also done with work for the rest of my pregnancy so I don't have to go to bed earlier because I know I have the opportunity for day naps. If I was working FT, I would be going to bed around 9pm.
I've been having serious sleep issues though, so going to bed later, between 11-12, helps me sleep until 8 or 9am (not including the 2-3x pee trips in the night!!).
then because I nap 5/7 days a week, it usually just works out for me to go to bed late :)
My husband complains if I try going to bed early haha so I stopped awhile ago.

Just thought I'd post this for fun. I usually go to bed around 9-9:30 during the week. After a full day of teaching I'm wiped. I used to be able to go to bed around 10 or 10:30 but now I find I need the extra hours. I also get up around 5:30-6:00. Sunday night I was up until 11 and yesterday I paid for it! Actually, I'll be going to bed in a few minutes and it's 8:30!! LOL
P.S. I'm 30 weeks
