What do you guys think of the black and white thing?  I know it's probably going to look silly a few years from now

I love Black White and Red. My hair is black with red streaks in it.

I am planning on wearing red shoes and I want red flowers.

Is it not "wedding dress" enough?  I think a veil will help... what do you bees think?

I would say if it makes you feel beautiful and how you imagine your wedding day go for it!

    It's absolutely gorgeous!

If you want to look a bit more traditionally bridal, a veil definitely would help with that. I think adding red shoes is awesome.

You look so great in that dress!

oh i forgot to add it was 86 bucks!!! For a DIY bride and someone who is forking out the money for this wedding it was an absolute steal!  I need to have it taken in some in the sides (hopefully it wont be that much)

That dress looks stunning on you.  I agree if you want to look more bridal, then go with a veil, but you look fantastic!  Awesome find!

That dress on you kicks A(&.  Seriously.  It's completely bridal (in my opinion if the bride is wearing it, it's bridal lol).

You look great and what a fantastic deal!

I think it's awesome. It's different, while still retaining a bridal feel... nice find! Red shoes and flowers are going to look great.

Yes I think it is bridal enough. I think you should get a veil with either black lace or black pencil edge.

I saw a bride in a white ballgown with black details and it was beautiful!

YES! It looks awesome, you could do a red flower in your hair and it would be amazing. I also think it would be awesome with a super long veil!

I love that dress. It is very flattering (I can even see that with it being a bit loose). I think black and white are very elegant. My mind keeps running to long gloves with a bouquet of dark red roses (you didn't say gloves, but my imagination put those on you! lol)

You wouldn't really need a veil if your taste doesn't run that way. You are gonna look gorgeous!

Who cares if it's not "bridal" enough in other people's eyes? It's your wedding dress! And it's fabulous. :)

If you loved it enough, you could wear a burlap sack and it would be bridal enough. Rock your dress!

I love black, white and red too and that dress is going to be perfect for your theme!  I wonder if it would be possible to add a splash of red on to the actual dress, like a sash or flower somewhere?

That dress totally screams for an awesome veil, like one of these.

Ahhh I have this dress! It's not the dress I am wearing for the big day, I wore it to my fiances graduation dinner which was black tie. I absolultey love this dress and am looking forward to wearing it again.

It reminds me of a bridal gown, I think it would really work as one. Its so much more sparkly in person.

You got an amazing deal on it too, I paid quite a bit more for it so good for you!

I wore red satin heals with it so I think that would look good. I'm also envisioning you with red lips and a birdcage veil with a big red flower on it.

I really don't think it's going to look outdated. Looking back at family photos, a lot of them are wearing something besides a typical white gown, you would never confuse these ladies with anything less than being the bride.

Some of my very first choices for a dress were black and white.

I think it's totally fine to do something non-traditional if it fits your style. You (and you FI) are the only ones that have to love your wedding, so I say do what makes you smile.

I think it's a gorgeous dress! You look beautiful in it. And don't you worry about anyone thinking it isn't "bridal". It's your wedding day - you'll be bridal regardless, you could wear a burlap sack and still be bridal :)

That's a beautiful dress and it looks amazing on you! And I agree with the PP that if you're the bride and it's your wedding day, it's perfectly "bridal." Congrats!
