@Nona99: *chills* !!!!!
Ive experienced only a handful of weird things I cannot explain or understand. But nothing like this! Yikes!
Oh gosh. I remember those nights of staying on the couch because you're too scared to sleep. Good luck!
Yikes! I hear stuff in my house all the time!! What an experience those times are!
I love stories like this. It makes me miss living in my old apartment. I had a ghost named Ruth. The boyfriend and I lived there for a year and every time we took a shower, the mirror would steam up and you could see "Ruth, you're not good" written on the mirror. I tried EVERYTHING to get it to come off. Chemicals, makeup, my own finger writing over it...it was there every time. I asked our landlord is someone named Ruth had lived there before us...she said no and that it was an older single man and he had lived there for years. We always had weird things happen so we kinda made a joke of it and say..."oh, it's just Ruth acting up." I so miss living there!
@Nona99: I love that you told it that it was but a guest. Awesome! When weird things happen, I sometimes talk to the air too, just in case. I think as long as you make it known that you are the boss and not afraid of it then you'll be just fine. You're a braver woman than me though!
@Nona99: Eek! This stuff gives me the heebie jeebies. I've had a few experiences as well but nothing as terrifying as that, hopefully you get a nap today!
That would have scared me to death! I'm not even kidding, after I read that I looked over my shoulder to make sure there was nothing odd lurking around, haha.
@Nona99: I got goosebumps reading this!!!! You're so brave. I would have screamed and told FH to get his a$$ up, grab his baseball bat and walk around the house while I hold on to him from the back like the wuss that I am.
Please keep us posted on this!
*cringe* poor girl! It strikes me from reading your other thread that you've lived there 5 years with nothing suspicious and then BAM! activity.
PS - I sleep with a cross under my pillow when I get nervous...
You guys are so funny! I'll admit it freaked me out, but whatever that thing IS, it's on my turf and unless it starts paying rent, I'm in charge...I honestly think it was just someone passing through, maybe lost and a little angry...we'll see what happens tonight, although I might be too exhausted to wake up for it!
@Nona99: I read this at 3:00 in the morning my time. Seriously I could not sleep after lol That is crazy!
You're brave! I would have woken my DH up immediately and turned all the lights on!
Eeeee! The LAST thing I'd have ever done would have been to get out of bed. You are a braver woman than I.
So scary! Have you seen the show American Horror Story? It's about spirits living in the house. So creepy!
I.Would.Die. Are you dying? I would die. My sister has a sixth sense and just did a cleansing at her house the other night. Good luck!
Good lord. You guys are brave. I would be balled up under the covers if either of these things happened in my house. I am a huge scaredy cat when it comes to this stuff.

Hello bees!
As some of you know, I live in a very active house in the paranormal sense, here's the thread I started when we experienced a huge increase in activity over a period of weeks if your curious.
http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/haunted-house-or-just-haunted-stuff-you-decide
Things had been really quiet all through November and while it doesn't bother me when it isn't, nights like tonight sure make it hard to get a good nights sleep!
My clumsy greyhound cut his leg and is currently sporting the cone of shame, it's not a problem, but even when he's asleep he makes a ton of noise with that thing. He smacked it against a dresser and woke me up....I'm one of those people that HAS to pee if they get woken up, so I got that taken care of and I climbed back in bed and was laying there, listening to Mr. 99 breathing beside me, the dogs on the floor, the furnace.....out of nowhere, it sounds like someone is running up the stairs to our room, heavy footfalls, squeaking, the whole deal. I sit up like a shot, in time to see a shadow cut across the hall, dart into the guest bedroom and slam the door.
That woke up the dogs, I hustled them nervously out the our room and outside, Mr. 99 NEVER wakes up, not even if a man with a chainsaw was running through our house he would slumber undisturbed....I took a deep breath and went to the guest room, opened the door and saw nothing out of the ordinary.
I'll admit to holding my breath, I let that out and went downstairs resolved to spending a night on the sofa since there was NO WAY we were going back to sleep. I let the dogs back in, they bolt downstairs like their asses are on fire and while I'm getting a glass of water I feel someone behind me, hear the floor under them, I figure Mr. 99 woke up by some weird chance and I turn around to face him, but there's no one there and I get this horrible feeling like in the darkness of the living room, there's something I can't see, but is watching me.....
I had to make myself go out there but I did, I said to whoever it was, "Tread lightly stranger, in this house you are but a guest."
So here I sit, surrounded by petrified dogs, at three in the morning....today should prove to be interesting to say the least.
