@Jw1724:  I really can’t tell the fabric from the pic. Not all LBD’s are dressy. Did you get any idea of the formality of the wedding from the invitation or the location of the reception?

The cardigan dresses it down quite a bit.

To most weddings, seems fine to me.  Not quite formal enough for Black Tie, but fine with anything less formal.

depends where the event is being held. It’s definitely not dressy if its a black tie event. If its a casual wedding it’s fine

I’d ditch the cardigan and add some jewelry to dress it up and then it should be ok

I like it with the cardigan and I think it will be just fine!

I like it but WITHOUT that cardigan. That cardigan looks like it’d be good for jeans, not a pretty dress like that.

@Jw1724:  Pretty! I would add some colourful jewelry though to jazz it up.

Oh, and black heels would be nice!

Dress looks good, and you look great in it !!

Problem is still the cardigan (IMO just too dressed down for a Wedding)

Do you have a wrap / pashmina of some sort… or someone from whom you can borrow one from ?

And ya, I get the Chilly / Cold bit for getting to and from the venue (I live in Ontario)… but once you there and having a good time, up dancing, etc… it won’t be chilly indoors.

As a last resort, I’d wear the cardigan to & from and ditch it once there.

Hope this helps,
