Here’s mine – David’s Bridal Style V9743 – simple, flowy, elegant.  I LOVE it. Chiffon A-line with beading at the empire waist and down the back.

Ha!  I have the same David’s dress 🙂 This is from my first try on – so the sleeves are just tucked in.  i have since removed the bottom/longest layer of them and now everything is fitted and stitched.  Can’t wait to wear it next month!

It’s the same dress Mrs. Earrings wore and there are some great shots in her recaps, as the pictures of this dress on the David’s website are TERRIBLE!

@MrsGibby2Bee:  No, I added the sleeves 🙂  I’m just not comfortable in strapless clothing.  The dress from my first wedding almost 9 years ago was also a chiffon from David’s that had long sheer bell sleeves.  Love my chiffon!

@thewheelsonthebus: I love chiffon, and I love the empire waist.  It’s way more flattering for curvy apple shaped bodies like mine.  I’ve had weight loss surgery and not sure where I’m going to end up, so I’m going to wait as long as possible to order and have a corset back put in. Nervous about the corset back because I dont want to lose too much of the beading in the back. I LOVE how simple and elegant this is!

I am also looking for a casual/beachy chiffon dress!  Our wedding is going to be a casual outdoor wedding.  Here’s my favorite so far, but I haven’t tried it on yet…

Maggie Sottero SD5230:

Does anyone have pictures of themselves in this dress???  Would love to see it!

my first dress was beachy casual. i ended up selling it and going for a more statement dress, but i still loved this one. (and although i am not considered full figured, this dress would look good on a lot of body types). its Nicole Miller HG0013, material is a crinkles metallic taffeta

@Ronneykay: I tried on the same dress that MrsGibby2Bee and thewheelsonthebus have and am the same size that you are – and it looked great. It was my second choice, I just fell in love with a more formal once because my wedding isn’t quite as “beachy” as I felt it needed to be to pull it off. I am also really hippy and pretty busty and it really looked GREAT! 🙂 I think it would look great on you! I don’t have any pics, but I promise it looked good. Lol.
