So, my best friend will without a doubt be my Matron of Honor. However, I also want my brother in the wedding. I have read to call a male on the bride’s side either “Man of Honor” or “Bridesman”. For whatever reason, I don’t like the sound of bridesman and would prefer Man of Honor. However, in the past, I have never liked when people have a Maid and Matron of Honor because they are the same thing. Yet here I am…in the same predicament. I don’t wanna take away from my best friend and her role…but I also would prefer to call my brother Man of Honor (honestly mainly for the sound of the title). But my best friend is the most easy going person ever and is okay with it…so I guess it’s just me. Opinions? Tacky to have two “___ of Honors”? Or is there another name that sounds okay to call my brother? or just suck it up and call him a bridesman? (I’ll also have 4 additional bridesmaids, fyi but he will be standing second in line). Opinions!?!?!
