There's round diamonds on your E-ring band? Then it should be fine to have round on your wedding band. My ring has a princess cut center stone, but both bands have rounds stones and I think it looks fine.
@michelle86: Yes, round cut diamonds on both sides of the e-ring band (if you can see in picture). Sorry the angle of the photo isn't so great. Do you have a pic of your rings together so I can see? I'd just like to have an idea of what other people have done.
I actually don't have a picture of the two rings (not even from the wedding day--sad 
), but this is what my E-ring looks like. The wedding band matches.
I don't think so at all. I have a princess cut engagement ring and round and baguettes in my wedding band.
@MissAsB: I know I tried on a white gold (the bands are so much cheaper!) band with my platinum and they didn't match very well... so I knew that much that I was going to have to spend more to make it match my engagement ring. Baguettes are more rectangular shaped, right?
Absolutely! Mine is a princess cut center with two brilliants on each side, and then a sort of pave band.
Although I can't wear the band yet, my e-ring is princess and wedding band is made up of round stones.
I mixed mine! i knew for a long time that this is the combination that i wanted. it's more unique and a lot prettier in my opinion :)
I tried to mix my princess cut with round stne wedding band... I think its ok...
It'll probably be fine if it's on the thinner side. I have to say, though, I LOVE the look of princess channel set bands.

I've got a gorgeous engagement ring and now fiance and I are looking at wedding bands. I'd like a channel set ring, platinum to match my engagement ring. Is it okay to have round cut diamons in the wedding band? My engagement ring has tiny round cut diamonds on both sides of the band. Pic is of my engagement ring... Would a round cut diamond band mixed with my princess cut ring look too weird?
