@kansas_nurse:  My sister did this to me. I am a 38 DD.  I felt like I was going to fall out through the whole wedding. I bought some of the double sided tape at the top of the dress and had my straps taken up.  Just know that you only have to wear it once! 🙂 Good luck

Oh shiz. Backless is the worst! Do you think the bride would be okay with you wearing a bolero or something? I mean, it’s not ideal, but at a DDD, you can’t wear a backless bra. It’s just not happening. I’m so sorry that happened, she really should’ve checked to make sure everyone could pull off a backless first!!!

I’m kinda picturing the dress but do you have the style # or photo? Is it possible to add lace to the front to cover up a little or have you tried the sticky bras (not sure the real name). They just started making them in larger sizes.

Have you considered a backless bustier, double sided tape, and a bottle of wine?  I’m smaller than you, but definitely too busty for my size, so I feel you!!

Also, maybe you can order the dress in an even bigger size so the bust area will be bigger?  They will just take the rest of it in and you won’t even know it!

Try to find a local lingerie store, one that specializes in custom bras and things, not slinky night gowns. They should have longline bras with lowbacks for chests of all sizes. Either that, or you may be able to get something similar from a local bridal salon.

Umm, I couldn’t even pull off a sticky bra when I was a D, so don’t even waste money on those! I really don’t think there’s a solution that doesn’t involve some more material added to the back.

I thought of something else, though! Do you think the bride would be ok with you adding a line of fabric across the back that would hide a bra?

Maybe something like the pink one, only obviously much lower?

@kansas_nurse:  PS, it was my seamstress that was able to point me in the direction of a lingerie store to buy a longline bra at. It was only like $40 too.

I agree with adding fabric to cover the bra in the back and to thicken up the straps. You’ll be so much more comfortable.

Duct tape.  Seriously.  Bend over, tape those puppies where you need them (a couple layers going in different directions will hold them in place with perfect shape), and you’re good to go.  That wine will be a great thing when you take the tape off later, though.

I feel your pain!  One thing I found that really works are the bra extanders at victoria secrets (I cant get bra’s from there though 🙁  It attatches to one side of the back of the bra, wraps around your stomach then catches on the the other side of the bra bringing the back of the bra further down.  See the tutorial here:

Hope this may help.

If you put vaseline over your nipples its not as bad. Just my advice. Clear packing tape works good.
