I’ve never heard that.  I can think of some bald men who both have daughters & sons.

My grandfather was balding and had 4 sons.
A friend of ours is balding and had two boys before having a girl.
Another friend is balding and had two girls.
My uncle, guess what, bald, had a boy…

So… I would not rely on that rule!

hehehe I’ve NEVER heard of that! But my husband, in his 20’s, is already thinning! His father just shaves his head now…we always joke it used to be an “M” on the top of his head and now it is a “W”. My father has ALL his head but it is pure white…and he had me (I also have a brother but he was adopted)…so maybe?! haha

My father has 3 daughters and his hair is thinning, but that’s because most men do at his age, 59. It’s so rare that men’s hair do not thin so it can’t be true! My fiance thinks it has to do with how much stress the mother is under: more stress, a boy, less stress, a girl. My mother thinks it has to do with how much meat or noodles the father eats: more meat, a boy, more noodles, a girl. Weird, huh? Yep, I think so.

My dad has a super thick head of hair – 3 girls, grandfather had a full, thick head of hair until the day he died – 3 girls, 1 boy. Other grandfather is almost bald, 2 boys, 2 girls … I believe your brothers theory is based on a way too small sample size!

I heard that if you pinch your chin and there is a line down the middle you will have a girl first.

The first couple of couples I thought of made this theory seem true. Thinning hair= daughter. Can’t wait to tell my hubby.

I don’t believe that one but I do believe in the chinese gender chart it has been accurate for me and everyone I know.  I goes by your chinese age and the month of conception..TRY IT!

All i know is…that my first boyfriend’s dad definitely was balding young and completely bald by 35 and they had three boys. My fiance’s dad is bald and they had two boys…so in my experience, it’s the opposite theory!

My dad’s hair is thinner than it is but still very thick for his age.  He had 3 girls.  My hubby & BIL both have receding hairlines, but not “bald” and one had 2 girls and we are having a boy.  I don’ think it matters at all!

Nothing is very accurate (outside of medical intervention), but you can time when you have sex, compared to ovulation…and that helps some.  Also, my Chinese gender chart was accurate, so I’d be curious to see if it’s higher than 50%.  Most of the old wives tales are not much more accurate (if at all) than 50%, so that’s not really helpful, lol
