For your hair, you should wear it down with soft waves and to the side with a big feather in your hair.

You could also wear it up like this:

I'd be careful with the crystals because it could be hazardous? I'm not sure what the aisle looks like, but if it's hard floors and you're in heels it can be dangerous. You can trip or the crystals can break...
The feathers sound nice though.
Modern trends include vintage looks now so use that to your advantage, keep colors muted with flashes of vintage like a fascinator, red lipstick, feathers, lace (or whatever else you had in mind)
@eehkay... I love the idea of wearing my hair down to the side! I was considering the updo but the hair down brings out a differnet look!
@cwat12... I am actually going to make the bouquets out of feathers because I think they are more dramatic (and cheaper) than buying flowers. Idk about the red lipstick. My fiance hates kissing me when I have lipstick on so I dont want to have that akward moment after our first kiss! lol
@Miss_nemesys: There IS lipstick that is like 18 hour stuff that you have to use soap and water to get off (and REALLY scrub)!!! It's around $20 a thing, though. I THINK it's by Cover Girl.... I've used it and it's a pain to get off, but it doesn't come off as easily as the typical tube of lipstick
hopefully that makes sense!!!!
You can get a lipstain, that colors you lips without the waxy lipstick feeling. And like the pp said it takes forever to come off

It has always been my dream to have an Old Hollywood Glamour themed wedding, however, the future husband is not too fond of "girliness"of the theme so we are mixing it with a modern/funky twist. Basically he just wants it to be a big VIP club type party.
We are hosting the ceremony and reception in a renovated industrial loft downtown. Exposed brick, cement flooring, industrial stairs, the works! As the guests enter, we hired a couple of photographers to snap our guests pics on a custom made backdrop. We even rented red carpet. The photos they take will be printed on-site and will double as favors and used for our guestbook (similar to the Polaroid guestbook idea) The tables will be covered in black and white damask linens and For centerpieces I'm wanting to use tall
eiffel towervases and ostrich feathers pomanders on top. We have a black and white colour scheme and are asking our guest to dress in our theme to make the event more exclusive. I had my dress made after a design by Maggie Soterro (fit and flare strapless organza dress) but Idk how todomy hair. The bridesmaids wore black knee length dresses with black hosiery and black pumps. I am also contemplating black opera length gloves. Our flowers white roses and ostrich feather all over the place and instead of our flower girl dropping flowers, i am thinking about dropping crystals (christmas tree ornaments) and feathers. What else can I do. I am stuck!
