i need help with borrowed.
my mom and my FMIL have totally different taste than i. i cant wear their stuff. not anything that was handed down to them.
friends havent been very helpful.
Mine are:
Old: My Grandma's vintage diamond earrings
New: Dress, shoes
Borrowed: My mom's diamond necklace
Blue: Part of the lace on my garter and undies :]
For me blue was easiest - my undies and my shoes.
Old - lace hankie that my grandma carried on her wedding day.
Borrowed - my mom's veil and a necklace from grandma.
Are any of your bmaids married? Can you borrow any of their jewelry that they wore?
do you have your jewelry yet? We had a bride request that we add a blue crystal on the back of her necklace - it would work for new and blue (although you already have a new) just a thought!
Old & Borrowed - My mom's bracelet. It also doubles as my other something blue as it has lapis in it.
New - Dress and shoes
Blue - A tiny little 4mm blue origami crane that I'm folding especially :) We'll have 1000 paper cranes for decor elsewhere at the reception.
hmm great ideas ladies. My original plan was to do my shoes blue, but when I couldnt find any i settled for these awesome strappy sandals that I got in Silver rather than the patent red.
I do have my jewelry and my veil already, so that takes both of those things out. I may ask my dad's mom for something of her mothers. I had both of my great grandparents up until a year or so ago, and that would be special.

old - not sure yet, my mom has a diaper pin from when i was a baby, and fh has one from when he was a baby... or trying to find something his grandparents wore in their wedding to wear...

borrowed - my great grandmothers cameo ties around my bouquet
blue - swwarovski crystal earings, necklace, bracelet, and hairpin (custom made for me)
old: my fave necklace
new: dress
borrowed: my mom's perfume
blue: a few larkspur in my bouquet
