Remember the old style photo albums that just had blank black pages and you would have to mount the pictures yourself? Sory of like a scrap book...I'm looking for those types of albums for my guestbook, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Would anyone know where I can buy them?
Borders or Barnes & Noble? I bought a bunch from Waldenbooks when they closed 'cause they got bought up by Borders. I've seen similar ones lately at both stores. I got a mini-Kolo from B&N late last year w/ black pages, but I can't remember if they had bigger sizes w/ black pages. (A lot have white or cream pages...) (So I guess Kolo would have 'em too, online.)
I also recall getting some back in college at Michaels' (? We don't have those here - I was w/ a friend in her home state of North Carolina.)
albumsource.com has a lot of plain page albums, with cream or white papers and a nice assortment of bindings, from decorated to plain leather. They are also a reasonable price. You want to select "scrapbook style albums" from their menu.
I'm planning on using Light Impressions. They have a kit that has the thick black pages, photo corners and sleeves. They're a little pricey, but last forever since they're archival quality. My family albums are falling apart, so I want to get something that will go further.
adesso.com has a DIY guest book, take a polaroid of your group and there's an insert right into the page and then that group signs that page. That's what I'm using and I get an instant scrapbook of my guests instead of the groom and I. Have fun....
I bought a plain scrapbook (black) and bought extra filler pages (like 3 packs) and white and black 8x8 paper for our guestbook. I supplied white and black pens and a 4.5x6.5 photomat for their pic- they could design and write whatever they wanted on their scrapbook page. I spent less than $25 b/c I bought it all on sale at hobby lobby.

If anyone can help me, it's the hive!
