- Wedding: September 2016 - Our Castle
I am so happy that my Sister has accepted the role as MOH! She is 20years older and alot of ppl at wedding expos etc think she s my mum.. the comments arnt to bad because the age gap is actually there..
My sisters first act as Maid/Matron of Honor was to Stop me spending any more money on the wedding!.. I have debts to pay, a house to build (Cheaper then buying!) and a wedding to plan.. in that order….
Because of our age difference we have been more like step mum/aunty and child through our lives.. but now we have something to share as sisters and she feels honord to be there and help me.. She knows what happened with my best friend (previous boards explain) and she is very happy to take up the position. She Pretty much found the dress she would like to buy and considering her two daughters are also in my wedding party its not a bad idea for her to buy her dress now so all three arnt bought at the same time.. same fabric and colour (now same designer) but own choice on design.
Has anyone else had a Maid/Matron of Honor that is a deal older then her? or an older sister as MOH?.. whats your story?
